Pardon me for asking, but what is a NFT? Never heard that acronym before.
You're basically paying a ** load of money (think bitcoin worth) for a jpeg/mp4. But that's not all, as in fact, it kills the enviroment because each one has their own... serial number or something, and that takes a ** tom of electricity to use which in turn pollutes the enviroment in an awful way. NFT stands for Non-Fungible Token, so unloke Bitcoin, you can't trade it for anything else. You get the jpeg, and that's it.

It's a waste of money and the only thing you can get in return is enviromental damage.

It's basically selling a PNG for thousands of dollars, that hold no worth and are somehow bad for the environment
A lot of art theft happens this way too

you know the late artist Qinni? She died after an almost decade long battle with cancer? Yeah someone made an NFT of one of her artworks... her last one too I believe

They made one of Chadwick Boseman worth 1.2 million for the Oscars.

And it was a stolen 3D model that was $50, and they just slapped a gold texture on it.

And that model was stolen as well.

Alright, here's the run down at THIS WRESTLE MANIA TUESDAY, YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!

Today session can be separate into two parts:

All the stuff in The Last Resort/some of the Deep Well

and the rest

Starting with the first part, going straight to the point here: The Last Resort was the area I was the most excited for to play myself.

Why? Well, beside the obvious, it has one of my favourite battle theme- no, scratch that, one of my favourite music in all of Omori, period. That being this one.
When I founded this music while looking at Omori OST on Youtube. This theme just made me...relax, feel good, make me feel all sorts of emotions. It just stuck in my mind for days and I keep coming back to it when I feel down or need some chill music while I work on stuff like drawing or what have you. More than anything else, this music is one of the many reasons I wanted to play Omori all by myself, and it was all worth it....sort of.

Before I explain the problem I had with this area, I have some more positive to notes, here are them in no particular order:

-Look wise, I FREAKIN' LOVE IT. The sea ambience mixed with a hotel/casino hybrid remind me of those water park I went alot as a kid, and in general it's very pleasing to look at, especially the battle background. Definitly my favourite of the bunch on that front

-There's so many little details here and there, seeing peoples you know put in different job that fit their personality, finding the Life Jam Guy again in a room out of nowhere, the gators's dialogues are hilarious & even relatable at time, seeing the portraits of the previous Jawsum (Doctor Jawsum for Ultimate, anyone?). They definitly put as much as they could in it. Plus having the party separate was quite a fun setup....even if it doesn't last. (wait for it)

-Speaking of Mr.Jawsum, while his screentime is REALLY small (wait for that later...), the way the others character talk about him make him both look threatening, shady & VERY incompetent at his job if the chart are any indications. Yet when you do meet him, the big guy just ooze personality. His laugh, his design, HIS SMILE, the fact he doesn't even fight you because professionals don't make their hands dirty (they got employee to do that!), and in all, in spite of his many problems. He still care alot about Hero and Pluto sake in his own way, prefering stop the fighting and let the kids go their own way than make them unhappy (and also because Kel isn't good for business). Even if it's not much, he still managed to stole the show in the few minutes he wax there, and i'm all the glad for it.

-Finally, about Pluto...man, the feels & THE MUSCLES on display....even if the actual battle wasn't that hard (including the previous one) due to me being overpowered. When I flexed with Kel and he commented on it, it got me for a sec. He is like Jiren if Jiren was a actual character that was fun to see & talk, and mah god....that expanded form was so hella THICC...👌😩 no apologize here

Oh and, Kel getting punch in the face to get some hearts & lost a teeth was very funny & weirdly wholesome. In a manly kind of way you could say.

Annnd yeah, think that's all the big positives I could remember on top of my head (The Dashcon ball pit is the best joke in the game, don't @ at me) Sooooo, what's the problem with this area?

It's too short

After how big Sweetheart Castle was and how much the sprout moles got screentime in general, as well as Sweetheart being talked so much beforehand, getting a decent amount time to show off (REALLY show off) and still taking more as she enter Deep Well. The fact the poor Gators & Jawsum importance in the story is pretty much done is honestly a real shame.

While I get why they did it, for the plot & pacing sake (Sunny is basically trying to come up with any ideas at this point to take off his mind out of his problems, even if it work less and less). I would have been sooooooooo happy if The Last Resort was a much bigger area with tons to do. Like imagine you had more time where you stay with Kel and had to do puzzle with him and Omori. Kel isn't the brightest of the bunch, but his dynamic with only Omori around could have been explored in fun way & even contrast the relation Sunny & Kel have IRL, but outside of him gambling money while fighting (which is pretty funny I might add) and the dialogues that is here. It alas last way too short to really explore, as Aubrey is brought back quite fast, and the boss room with Hero & Mr. Jawsum is litteraly the next room afterward.

Me being overpowered due to being grinding Dino Dig for a while also didn't help the pacing of this area. None of the Gators or bosses were a real danger, and that's a shame. (especially since I kinda spoiled myself the key to defeat Jawsum, oops)

And at last, Mr.Jawsum, Mr.Jawsum....
Jawsum_Sad.gif

when looking around fanart of Omori onlines & how much peoples loved the characters. Rarely do I see the big guy mentionned, and while I love him, it's easy to see why he is often forgotten. As with all the problems I mentionned, his area goes by too quickly, his battle is quite easy once you get the gimmick, and like mentionned before, he doesn't make much of a impact overall due to having so little mention beforehand, if any at all. (contrasted with Sweetheart merchandise being all over Headspace & her being the cause of Spaceboy angst due to their relationship taking a nose dive). Again, I do get in part why his presence is kept a secret for this long and I wouldn't want to be as talked to as Sweetheart. I would have love to see more of him in some way or the other (what if he sended Gators to send gift to Hero?), and the Omori Route apparantly doesn't add alot about him either. Add all of this, and overall, he isn't as fully realized as I would have wanted, and that's a shame imo

Brief, all to say, while i'm not dissapointed per say, I still love what's here, if I could change this game in any way, I would have expanded this area some more. Either in the main or Omori Route, and gave the big bad shark more time to shine. (and fanarts too)

EDIT: I was also almost going to say that you couldn't hear the battle music after you beated Mr.Jawsum, which would have been a crying shame....if it wasn't for the fact you do get the music in the golden sandwich club all around Heasdspace. Someone in the team knew this music was too good to be only played for a short while, and I applaud them for that decision.

I hope I made my points clear and that I don't sound too whiny about it. 'cuz for all the problems I had, I still loved it & I look forward to what's next.

I think I take a break here tho before I write the rest of my thoughts. That, and I like to see your thoughts on what I said. Agree or disagree, in the end, we're still on the same boat! JAWAHAHAHAHAHAH!

By no means it's against this the actor no, just the character he played, even then I can't really blame it on him as it was the script's and writing's fault.

For as minor as his role was in Deadpool 2, that was a much better performance so the guy does have potential.
Agreed on the bolded. I will say that maybe if the film had a much more experienced director and writer who not only understands and respects the source material, but also perhaps make a more interesting story as well as a bigger production budget, then I think the outcome would be much more different.

In terms of the cast, the only ones that stood out were Hiroyuki Sanada and Joe Taslim despite their lack of screen time and the rest were rather flat for me.

For those wondering, Yoshinori Ono, the one who did Street Fighter 4, x Tekken and 5 is now the president and COO of Delight Works, the ones who do the Gacha game, Fate/Grand Order. And by what I've been hearing, Fate Fighting game has already been trending on Japan twitter because of this.

What this means for Grand Order and Fate, I don't know. Like we know that he did really good at the beginning with Street Fighter 4 and brought attention to fighting games back, but we also know that he was responsible for Street Fighter X Tekken and early Street Fighter 5. I guess things can go either way. Here's hoping Ono goes the good way.
Well congrats to Yoshinori Ono on getting his new role. I am aware like you said with what he had done in the past with several mistakes made like SF X Tekken and the early stages of Street Fighter V.

Either ways, I am hoping that the Capcom Fighting Game Division can revitilise themselves with what they are doing with the final season pass of Street Fighter V and put themselves back in the limelight.

The Last Resort is a bit short, but I always kinda just assumed it was because it was one of the shorter areas before the real, large dungeon. Sorta like how Sweetheart's Castle has Pyrefly Forest right before it.

I'll admit, I kinda rushed through a big part of the Deep Well because I was impatient to get into the "real story" and it initially felt like a filler arc.

Looking back, it's actually has a great design and I appreciate its compact map more than some of the bigger areas. As you said, it has an amazing presentation, and the characters' fun sides really shined (I'd say it's actually one of the best parts in the game, humor-wise). Mr. Jawsum made a good impression on me, if nothing because of his dynamic with Hero (who was really cute during the whole thing).

I think the pacing is one of the biggest problems with Omori (and one it can't fully avoid due to its core design) and I can see why you think this part was too short. It's one of those parts where additional content would help but I think it's good as it is, even if later arcs kinda overshadowed it for me.

Yeah, I kinda have also this feeling of wanting to rush a bit to get to the big main plot, but the Last Resort kept that feeling down for a while. Now that's gone, once i'm done with all the sidequests & noteworthy content. I'm going for the kill. (and I just beated that bonus boss, more on that later)

And yeah, one might say that the more compact design is much more fun compared to how BIG Sweetheart Castle is, and I do agree in parts, but idk, still felt it could have been a little bit longer in parts.

It definitly as some of my favourite jokes & interactions in the game too, so again, I can't really be too dissapointed overall at the are who gave us the best character in the whole game. (TM)

The pacing is weird too, due how the plot work, it both feel like you do alot annnnd not at the same time. It definitly show more in some areas. Still, I can't say I was too bored at any points. Tho me being overpowered is startin' to make the game too easy here and there, so gotta be careful.

That all said tho, a million thanks to you & Guh-Huzzah! Guh-Huzzah! for sharing your thoughts on this. It help me focus my thoughts & appreiciate the positive rather than getting drag down by the very few negative that are more nitpick than anything. However, my left wrist is starting to hurt from all this typing, so gotta take a break before I write the next part.~

I really hope that the Mario Party update means that they're considering adding more content to the game. That's the main overarching problem it has: it's fun to play for a bit, but once you've played every mode once, you've basically finished the game.

Although it would be two years too late at this point.

I like how the back of the box is just a list of all the franchises present in the story.

Invincible RoboTryder
Aura battlers

Crossbone Gundam
G Gundan
Armored troopers
Brave Express
Gao gai gar
Cowboy bebop
GunBusters

Getter Robo Armageddon
Mazinger Z
Arcadia of my youth

I wonder if anyone has been following Invincible? Based upon the popular comic from Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead.

Because the final episode of this season is about to air on Friday and been waiting for this season to be complete before watching it.

I'm definitely gonna be in for such a ride.

So got bored decided to poke the copyright bear by uploading an anime opening to Google Drive and YouTube as a private video. This'll be a fun test considering my very strong opinions against some of it.

This is what not having a job and a few days of **** weather does to you friends.

Btw can I mention how ridiculus Kel damage is when you flex, have lots of speed on him & use Run-N-Gun?

With the right setup, this boy is murdering peoples left & right with a smile.

Well apparently found out the whole Amazons ******* men was just a DC thing and even then was only for the New 52.

Regardless in the DCEU Diana is still the daughter of Zeus so **** still runs in the family bloodline apparently.
Just a suggestion but maybe stop joking about sexual assault?
