Howdy!
Alright. And ironically............ Lilo and Stitch should have won that. Cause of the Disney IPs that have been lost to time that is one of the most shameful. Movie was one of their best ever.

Think the only time they ever got that category so perfectly right was Into The Spiderverse.Only the Brave and Alpha really deserved an Oscar or at least a nomination.
Such overlooked films that deserved better and apparently bombed.
It's a good film but not as great as people make it out to be IMO. I find it kinda overrated, we can agree to disagree though. And that was a great film for obvious reasons.
Yeah.................I am.Alright.
You’re a little based.
And frankly those victories are most likely just Token victories to get some aproval by those twitter guys. Who are honestly the only people who actually care about the Oscars.Thats.... actually really sad that only two non American films have won the award, in 93 years of doing this.
Also, the Oscars that just happened was the first time a Woman of Color (i.e. non white) won the best director... in 93 years. That's pathetic.
I was expecting an old school Pokemon card honestly. There are a couple super expensive things I would want to get if I had the money, mostly the dull obligatory stuff like a house and cars...
That is, until I look down my list.
In what world is Lilo and Stitch an overlooked IP?Gee I wonder. If it ain't Miyazaki then **** you says the Oscars. (One example didn't which is suprising)

Yep.
Not even his son's best film (From Up On Poppy Hill) got nominated.
Add Weathering With You, 5 Centimetres Per Second, Children Who Chase Lost Voices, Wolf Children, Promare etc.
Disgrace.
I don't think overlooked is the right word. And frankly those victories are most likely just Token victories to get some aproval by those twitter guys. Who are honestly the only people who actually care about the Oscars.
In what world is Lilo and Stitch an overlooked IP? The movie had like 3 Sequel shows and tons of merchandise and game appearances.
It got popular in asian markets especially. Hence why it has both Japanese and Chinese anime.
Yeah, those can get pretty pricey too.I was expecting an old school Pokemon card honestly.
The only people who are eating that **** up are the liberal wine aunts which... there are more than there needs to be.And frankly those victories are most likely just Token victories to get some aproval by those twitter guys. Who are honestly the only people who actually care about the Oscars.
But the Shape of Water was also an emotionally powerful movie? I don't see how some non-gratuitous sex scenes make it a bad movie.Talking about Oscars eh?
I think it was a crime that such a tragic, emotional, and heartfelt movie like Only the Brave wasn't even nominated yet a movie about women having sex with fishmen (The Shape of Water) does.
wait, that came out in 2018?Lol remember this?View attachment 312971
And the British mothers who's only information they ever get about the world is from their soap operas. Both are pretty condescending and have a more narrow view of the world than a pencil. The only people who are eating that **** up are the liberal wine aunts which... there are more than there needs to be.
I love it when a film I adore gets an absolutely garbage sequel.Lol remember this?View attachment 312971
That movie was horrible.Lol remember this?View attachment 312971
The only scene I even remotely liked was the scene where Vanellope interacted with all of the Disney Princesses, where there was a clear divide between how the princesses see things and how Vanellope sees things. That movie was horrible.
you know what else came out in 2018 that deserved an award?Lol remember this?View attachment 312971
Still need to watch it...............................but I need to also watch 100 other things as well.you know what else came out in 2018 that deserved an award?

The only parts i liked were the bits with Sonic, they werent even funny i just like how Disney animated him.The only scene I even remotely liked was the scene where Vanellope interacted with all of the Disney Princesses, where there was a clear divide between how the princesses see things and how Vanellope sees things.
Just give me a movie based on that instead of... whatever we got instead.
Maybe but compared to a movie based on a true story where real-life heroes selflessly sacrificed their lives to save an entire town. It honestly earned it more. But the Shape of Water was also an emotionally powerful movie? I don't see how some non-gratuitous sex scenes make it a bad movie.
I didn't watch the movie you're talking about but topic don't make a good movie. Writing, acting and directing do.Maybe but compared to a movie based on a true story where real-life heroes selflessly sacrificed their lives to save an entire town. It honestly earned it more.
You should watch Only the Brave then. It's an amazing in-depth emotional and heartfelt movie, among my favorites of 2017. Highly recommend.I didn't watch the movie you're talking about but topic don't make a good movie. Writing, acting and directing do.
A movie can be based on a beautiful story and can still be bad.
Hey quick question, are you still touched by that movie about the great sacrifice after reading this?Maybe but compared to a movie based on a true story where real-life heroes selflessly sacrificed their lives to save an entire town. It honestly earned it more.
very faithful to what happened in Prescott, Arizona.
I try not to.Lol remember this?View attachment 312971
Aw geez...I really don't know what to say after reading that...That's so unfair and disgraceful to their families...Hey quick question, are you still touched by that movie about the great sacrifice after reading this?
The Story That “Only the Brave” Leaves Out
The new movie, about real-life heroic firefighters in Arizona, leaves out an entire world of activity that’s integral to understanding their locale and American times at large.www.newyorker.com
Idk, a dramatized version which deliberately ignores how ****ing disgusting the survivors' families got treated after the fact doesn't sound like it should be praised
EDIT: Perfect timing lmao
might end up being a challenge if he ends up seeing all the worse things Marvel & DC has done with that scenarioJust a suggestion but maybe stop joking about sexual assault?
Whedon yes...but in return WB kept all the bad people and will probably drop more DC employees as the years go bySo somewhat related, did DC remove that one director who was a sack of ****?
still haven’t seen this movieLol remember this?

never for me...for now...wait, that came out in 2018?
Feels like that was a year ago tbh.
Maybe next time don't criticize award shows solely because your favourite didn't win but rather about **** that matters and don't try to break down movies in 2 words while bragging about the movie you like being sooooo much better.Aw geez...I really don't know what to say after reading that...
To think what happened in the movie was how it was in real life.
Guess I'll just have to do the whole "separate the art" kind of thing and treat the movie as its own thing of fiction if I still want to enjoy it.Maybe next time don't criticize award shows solely because your favourite didn't win but rather about **** that matters and don't try to break down movies in 2 words while bragging about the movie you like being sooooo much better.
I'm assuming that's a typo as just like the article shows, the movie did not reflect the real life events well
It’s gotta be Eggman.Alright
