Chao haven't pjysically appeared in a main series game since Lost World (they were in Colors DS befkre anyone says anything) and the series has been going downhill with that game following.

Glad to hear Sony is going back on the shutting down on the PS3 and PSVita stores

Now all they have to do is address the situation on Japan Studio, the LoU remake rumors, and the reported forced bricking of their consoles, and they may have a chance on winning back all their PR that they lost these last few weeks (or not, I can’t tell anymore).

You know, some jokes that are thrown about say that SEGA lets fan games exist because they know they can't make a decent Sonic game themselves anymore. Whether or not that's true is open to interpretation.

It's more that they realize the passionate community is the only thing that's kept Sonic alive through the years.

The one thing they admittedly do "get" better than Nintendo is that fostering a community that's passionate about your products and IP can go a huge way in keeping your brand relevant and engaging through ups and downs, and Sonic (for better and a lot of times worse) is one of the biggest, loudest, most diverse fandoms out there that really like the thing they like. By engaging with that and encouraging that, you build up a brand that can sustain itself through rough patches by having people who will stick by it just simply because they love to talk about it and share it with one another.

If you think that is bad, you should have seen the news behind Sonic X-Treme being cancelled. Apparently, Sega's business politics, even back then, were so bad it caused the game, and Sega Technical Institute who was making it, to be cancelled and closed respectively.

Got a train going with my Sonic Clash part 2, but hit a couple roadblocks. Gonna ask a couple questions.

So I’m hitting Knuckles’s story atm. Who would be the best (Sonic related) opponents for Knuckles to face? Also trying to think of some potential level mashups that could happen, like two areas/levels from across the Sonic mashed together in visually and musically interesting ways, any potential ideas for this?
