Let me just add one thing: If you lose to me when I go to MI, you will feel extra salty, so salty you will need to rinse off the salt in Lake Michigan, which will be renamed the roller sea.

I don't know WTF you guys are going to do about ROB though. Who the **** plays ROB in Michigan?
Also: @ Roller, I know Z isn't really "random" but from people not really knowledgeable about OH, he might as well be. Everyone that has played him knows that he's talented and personally, we (Columbus) are working on him getting more experience and exposure. His Marth is getting very nasty (and Olimar... urgh, Olimar. I'm only beating him now with Mario because I know the MU and he doesn't, even then only barely.) and he's already a good player. My main (Pit) against his (Marth for now) is like 2-20 (games, not sets) and I got flat 0-2'd in the last set we played. ****'s hard, man.
All of Springfield quit to play other games (I think they do LoL and Fonz does Marvel?) and I don't think Iska's wanted to pick up this game for a long time. OS, Kel and Kassandra are Kentucky even though they are in Cincy and Ohio a ton.

On the real, Blue Rouge will just wipe them out in a crew battle. They have no one in their state aside from Lain that can beat Blue imo

I don't think I've ever seen Blue Rogue end a match without being on his last stock at high percent. He'd do terrible in a crew. Or we could specifically use Tutu for him.

We need to conslidate some efforts, I actually play Kel and OS on a regular basis. It would be nice if Columbus crew could setup fests/tournies in Columbus again, I for one would be down to drive up and practice.

This seems probable. Lain is the only one who could beat him in a straight up one on one, although TC could put a large dent on his stocks if he knows how to play the matchup well with his penguin. I'll reserve judgement on Sparta Kick's skill level until I've personally had a chance to play him, I'm very much looking forward to that.
Everyone else I've had a chance to play from MI seemed to be at or around my skill level (during my slump <3).

Ohio has ALWAYS been better overall than Michigan, dating back to early Melee days. Anther and Lain were one time things that everyone else meat rode. I couldn't even point out the MI guys in a crowd other than WTP and Gio.

Naw. Ohio has always had a better average skill level than MI, but only among the potfillers/randoms/non-money makers. Back when Anther, Lain, and Judge were all active MI was well above Ohio. Those three would always take the money, then MI would have Panda, NoJ, Bowyer, and Omni filling in 4th-9th spots along with Ohio's current best (OS and AZ?). Counting just top 8 MI was one of the best state/regions back in that brief time. The difference was the gap between MI's 8th and 9th best player was huge while Ohio had a nice gentle curve down throughout it's rankings.
Then everyone in MI quit or became inactive and the suckitude went to the max. Meanwhile Ohio became much better with God Kais and Shugo. But Ohio lost its top players from moving, including a significant hit if we assume MK ban, and with MI having a nice spring in skill the gap has closed considerably.

Even if we take out all of springfield and the god Kais that left/quit, OH is still stronger on all levels excluding Lain. Once I'm able to beat Lain MI will have nothing at all on Ohio.

The only people who use MK as their best from MI are myself and Gio, but I have an Falco on the same level. Kel moves down a tier with the loss of MK.
Lain is not the best in MI. He doesn't play or go to tournaments and the last time he did he lost to two other MI people. Kel MK is the only thing in Ohio that would beat anyone in MI consistently. Ohio does have more players on that level of skill, but Ohio has always had more players in general so it's to be expected.

I don't do MMs to prove something. I won't go all hard mode in a MM and the amount of money required to make me try is too much for me to want to gamble. I also may not be at Vengeance. And I don't get 2nd at tournaments so you'll want to see Zinoto.
No, it's just really funny to us. Specifically Ann Arbor people. We are well aware that Tako and Lumi are better than Thugz.
