^LOL. I feel no shame losing to him. I SD'd twice at 0 and near 0 on FD when he played ICs and still almost won. :p

Roller, that sounds like an awesome idea. XD

When you are a grammar Nazi as a retort, you know you're getting weak. I expect better from you Roller. <3

But enough of this, enjoying Ohio's other win. I really can't believe it tbh. Sweet 16, now gotta play UNC though....

Also, when MI vs OH crews happening anyways?

Yeah, OH has definitely lost some good players these passed couple of months.
I wish that there was a way that the remainder of us could get together for Smashfests semi-frequently.

loooooool

The sad part is... There's truth to that.

EDIT: omg. I just realized THuGz has recent wins vs 2 of your absolute top players... Good God. The situation is worse than I realized.

THuGz for top 5 in the world.

Edit: But only against Ohio players. :troll:

But seriously. You can hang his wins against Tako and me over our heads all you want, but you're going to be that much saltier when you lose to us. :)

A good rivalry might get me back in... but not with MI. I did that once and it was just me and anther driving 4.5 hours back and forth.

You guys realize he went 4 straight months attending every MI local without winning a single bracket match, right?

Not to mention that includes a loss to a melee player who mains D3 in Brawl, but went Pokemon trainer to beat him...

I don't understand you guys. lol

Did you see how he won? Or did he tell you? -_-

I beat him the first time we played in pools at SiiS. Then at Apex I was just going to play MK, but I agreed to a double blind and went Wolf. I have 0 Pika experience so I lost to CG. >_> G2 I beat him with MK. Then he went ICs against me on FD for G3. I took him to his last stock at 80-90 percent after SD'ing twice. Once at 0 percent and once at ~20 percent. That's how he beat me. I don't play really well against your ICs, Roller, and then lose to THuGz's for no reason. :p

Also, I bodied his main (Pika) in the same pool with Mario (almost 3 stock) and got MK vs Mario (1 stock, Mario's second worst MU to D3) and MK vs MK (2-stock) because I don't know the ditto and decided to **** around. and I'm ***.

If he had to go MK to beat me, beat Tako in an almost unwinnable matchup and then had to Pika Lumi on a double blind and then MK vs IC on FD, I don't know what to say. He was unknown and used CPs. That's what you're supposed to do, but I mean, it won't happen again lol.

Between Fizzle, Tako, Lumi, Sora, Blue Rouge, KB and "random" people like MX, Carls, Papa Z and others, I don't think the gap is as wide as you think, Roller.

It is admirable that AA is a pretty big, consistent hub for your smash scene and all of you are a lot better than before. Ohio doesn't have that. Michigan's really improved, that's good. Midwest needs more good rep. All of us should be trying to be better than Kansas though. And most of those *****s don't even play. Go figure.

You guys seem to be under the wrong impression of THuGz.

:metaknight: is his main...

He seconds every other top tier character besides snake (though none of them are close to as good, imo). We play hundreds of games a month and he will go :pika: for maybe 3 of them.

He'll use :pika: for the mu's he has the 0-100+% cg on sure enough. But never vs a character he would actually have to fight. He picked pika vs you g1 because he had expected your :sheik:, Juu.

Just letting you know since you guys seem to feel like you got gayed by him using a character he doesn't main, when that is in fact his character.

Unfortunately his ICs aren't that great since he plays so many secondaries and doesn't spend the time needed to practice with and refine such a fickle character. I was surprised Lumi lost to them, tbh. But I guess it was the SDs. Just for future reference though, ICs vs MK on FD is still substantially in MK's favor, not that much of a john. THuGz does have a lot of CP characters, but the reason he loses and places so terribly in MI is that they all suffer from him never truly learning all the subtle intricacies of any one of them. He just learns the "broken" or "gimmicky" aspects to each of them, especially for their sostupidlyeasyitssilly matchups. Then just finds a way to set up whatever he wants to do and forces it until it works. You have to take advantage of that and find the strategies (or in many cases even just a single solid strategy) he does not have the tools to deal with, then abuse them.

I'd also switch a name or 2 between those lists of what I guess I'll call the "notable" players, and the ones you labeled "random." I definitely don't think of Papa Z as a random for instance. Just inactive. Unless he is going to start coming out to more than the occasional anomalous tournament. He'd be at least as notable as some of the others on that list, were it not for his filial obligations.

But yeah, not having a hub with a number of players close by sucks. I know that feel. Months when I'm not at school I don't play anywhere near as much. Low player concentration is always unfortunate.

I've beaten his MK with mine before, so that's not an issue. Also, from my knowledge he has TONS of pika/wolf experience from MegaRobMan. I just got grabbed and killed there.

For the ICs thing, I agree though. It wasn't FD that screwed me, it was my own mistakes during the match that cost me it. I've got johns, but it will never happen again.

Edit: Some of our other top players are missing from that list, even though they're pretty sporadic in attendance. Fonz, DJ Iskascribble and Overswarm. Nope and pretty much the rest of Springfield as well.
