im looking for a room with some trustworthy people. or to get a room and have people who i know will pay with no problems

I'd like to get in on that King. I'm also looking to room with people that I already know/trust (not TOO many though, haha) and Shugo is already rooming with Texas.

I'll pay any split from 60$ (two people split)
$40 (three people split)
$30 (four people split)
$25 (five people split)

Won't go any higher than that amount of people though.

Uhh...my bad. Those numbers are what each person would have to put up for the total weekend, seeing as they all add up to $120-ish.

And trust me, I only listed five people rooming as an absolute last resort. I'd much rather have only one or two other people split the cost with me. Lisa and Feiy might not come and I don't want to handle the cost of a room on my own + tournament cost.

That price, even with the discount, is ridiculous.

If I end up rooming with some people, I'll cough up a good chunk of money for my share (depends on the number of people).

If not...I'll try to find a cheaper hotel a little further from the venue (not too likely since it's still around DC...).

Either way, we need to get this all set up like...now. I never wait until last minute.

@ Kiest: If you can migrate over to Akron or somewhere similar that is close to my direct travel path, I can take you. I do charge gas of course, but nothing outrageous. We can discuss numbers for gas/room once we get the attendance list established.

2 hours to Akron is nothing. I can manage to pitch in for the room too.

(By the way, if you guys are talking about the venue hotel, check the OP again. The cost scales with the amount of people in the room, and the max amount of people allowed per room is 4.)

Even so Bufu, the the highest someone would have to pay for both nights if there were 4 people is $60-ish.

2 people covering $190 is simply more money to pay.

Is that 190 for the room for 3 nights? Or gas too? (neither is a problem for me, but would appreciate more peops to join to keep the cost down)

That's what the room would be between 2 people, with each covering $95.
$240 split between 4 people, $60 each, is definitely preferred. (these are each the cost of the room itself for the weekend)

Gas is a separate thing I'll discuss with the carpool.

alright so i got a double, its 160 a night, which is 32 a night if split 5 ways

i got it for three nights, but if you guys think you will need that extra night we can call and change the reservation to one of your names.

if for some reason i have to flake on the room, ill let someone know ahead of time and we can change the reservation then.(i say this cause ive done it before, and dont want you guys to get screwed because of me)

Would you mind handling the room reservation Kiest? I need to have a set amount of cash in my bank for some bills that will be getting deducted that same week, so I'd be much better off paying you my portion in cash when I see you.

Gas stuff will all be handled separately of course.

Some hotels I've been to took it out in advance so I don't want to gamble on it, haha. We appreciate you getting it set up though.

How many people are going to be in there exactly? We have me, you, Kiest, who else?

I call a bed spot in advance since I'm also a driver.

I haven't decided on if I want to head out Friday evening or early Saturday morning yet (more than likely the former if King~ has the room secured for that night as well. I know I'll be staying for the whole event though (until whenever Grand Finals ends on Monday if they're hype enough), so yeah I'm leaving on Monday.

@ Other peeps- If she comes, she won't sleep near anyone else but me.
