Emblem Lord, do you think MetaKnight should be banned?

Personaly, I think his brokeness is on par with Akuma and Gill's.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm afraid to use Marth because of MetaKnight. I think MetaKnight is the only character that's truly an even match up to MetaKnight.

marth n MK isnt ****.

MK have minuscule amount of advantage.

*looks at Mk match-up forum*
on match up threads you assume the opponent character really knows what they are doing. so assuming that marth player A is really good at spacing and punishing, MK has a small advantage.

i agree with this.

Why are you being so negative about it? Marth is very capable of beating meta knight. It's not an impossible match up.

It really annoys me that MK's can lose to Snake's only because they arnet smart about using moves and are too lazy to work hard to get better tactics. I recently fought someone who said they mained MK. They did awful, spammed whornado and his drill attack, thinking I couldn't counter or something? eh...eh.

Also, while I do like taco bell, I love to destroy my body eating Baconators and Steakhouse Burgers, not even joking. Thank goodness I run lol.

what do you guys (EL included) recommend for fair's, the c-stick or the A button? i space better when i use the c-stick because i have more control to DI in and out. However the A button is better in its own way because it is much easier to follow up a fair with a dancing blade or anything else because the buttons are right there. Usually when i use the cstick to fair i find myself spamming fsmash alot after i land because the A and B buttons are way up top. it is quite the predicament so please gimme some help

Marth isn't beating Wolf online lol.

Taco Bell is one of my fave fast food places.

MK isn't unbeatable and it sucks that he has no bad match-ups...but Gill...I mean Gill brought himself back to life when you killed him. >_> You really can't make that comparison. He is definitely more comparable to Akuma in that he has a special move that the cast really can't deal with. Akuma had his air fireball and MK has his tornado, but the tornado isn't nearly as dominating as the fireball mostly due to the game engine itself and the defensive options it gives you. Plus the tornado itself has weaknesses. So MK isn't quite on Akuma's level either.

So as of now..no he isn't ban-worthy IMO. But I do think the game would be better if he didn't exist.

The name of my Maple Story character is DarkChalice and he is a Bandit.

Dagger Bandit or Cutter Bandit?

Meta Knight is a combination of 64 Kirby and Melee Sheik/Marth, then dumbed down by Brawl's game engine.

Play Street Fighter 2.

And try to understand that vs each and every character there is an optimal zone that you need to be in to be effective. Spacing comes with experience. The two most important things to remember about spacing is why you do it. You do it to minimize your risk and so you can play to your character's strengths.

Most people think it's just about abusing range and that is only somewhat true. If you are fighting Kirby then obviously it's as simple as that. But if you are fighting Dedede the concept of spacing gets trickier and harder to actually do in battle.

lol, after playing games like IaMP and MBAC, all I know is how to mash attacks that are safe on block, how to mix things up, and how to cover my approach with projectiles. Maybe I should play a character with no projectiles in a game where NOTHING is safe on block, like Marth in Bra.... ****.

Be close enough that they cannot safely use projectiles vs you, but far enough that you still outrange their close range options.

I got no clue.

Although I would think he doesn't have too much to worry about since canonically, he is with Sheeda.

Wifi is good for getting some experience in match-ups that you may not be as familiar with, but don't take it too seriously.

Two things before I ask a question.

A) You do good work.

B) I apologize for getting you involved with Pokemon Trainers matchup discussion of Marth. I honestly thought they'd be more responsible than that, and would honestly be more accepting of the truth.

Anyway, here's a question: You know Marth's death grab against Lucas? Just how much of an advantage does that give to Marth in that particular matchup?
