I think sometimes the panel doesn't quite look at the bigger picture with making their own adjustments with these rankings. Adjustments are needed, yep, that is clear. Whether it be factoring who v. who, attendance, or whatever....This discussion has already happened.... anyway, assuming the panel was "right" in trying to be more fair for mike/adam with their placing--When you make ANY kind of choice to be right, more fair, or adjust an ordered ranking in a positive way for someone, SOMEONE(S) ELSE IS GOING TO GET ****ED(aka see the negative side of the decision, whether it's right or not). Due to the panel's continuance to **** people for better interest for the PR(again, whether appropriate decisions or not), I can only conclude that they're not foreseeing people getting ****ed exactly(again, this applies no matter if the decision was "right" or "wrong"). This is the trend that I see, and this is why I've always shown support in ways to do our power rankings that avoid people getting ****ed by......people. If a public, organized pt system based on placing/attendance was the standard for forming these rankings, then it would turn into the bracket ****ing people. Which I personally, think is better to be quite frank. There wouldn't be any periods with "inconclusive data" lol... You just rank the players on the data. It also makes seeding more crucial and perhaps more emphasis would be placed onto doing the seeding 100% right. I'm sorry for assuming that the seeding isn't perfect, but it would parallel the mentality/ideals of NC so, I bet it's consistent. Most of you *****es probably think that I am a dumb **** who can't understand why placing isn't a 100% indicator of skill level, lmao, this website kills me. But that's who we are.....NC.....where everyone has an argument ready for why your tourney placement doesn't mean as much as you think it does, and where everyone always has a preconceived notion as to what really happened. Of course, if this notion involves yourself and it doesn't happen then the excuses are locked, loaded, and ready to fire. Don't get me wrong, I could list tons of good things about NC as well.

Anyway, it's just the process, I think it could be done better(the way that avoids all horse **** = better in the Book of Dorsey). I am not referencing any panel decision specifically, I however can empathize with esam over his situation... I also empathize with the panel, having to constantly change how attendance and who v. who is factored in by the circumstance, individual, and ranking period.

I am looking forward to the MMs.. although they probably won't change how any parties involved feel about who is better.

BTW, I was there forcefeeding gg down the above poster's lungs the first time he ever did it a few years back. He also started to undergo a change somewhat a year or 2 back.

Also, I'm not arrogant in Melee, I'm *** at this game, but I became smart because Brawl and I'm fast with fox...which is all that you really need at high level play (not top level play). Melee is so simple in terms of playing it >_>

I hope I lose those MMs so I can stop playing that game and focus more on Brawl. Beating legit people makes me want to not stop playing it completely and only play at tournaments.

Now, I'm actually arrogant in Brawl since, y'know, I can be and I can back it up. As master Hawkeye says "It isn't brash if you can back it up"

Coming from a guy who said he doesn't play marvel cause Sneak is too good at it. I'm not offended.

I would challenge you but I've been down that route before. I would beat you, call out the NC melee players (for being free in Brawl), they would get Kevin (and then yell in my ear while I'm playing him) and he would beat me.

Yeah I'm not doing that again.

But anyway my statement is simply this. Just give ESAM his credit where it's due.

I also didnt play for 2 months(after leaving sfl) played the night before a tournament in ga and got 4th. Pretty much upsetting the entire bracket and had close matches with everyone haha.

Melee is so easy though, at least to be a high level player after playing for so long. Samus is so limited though if people understand the character it is hard to win with her since she has several really exploitable weaknesses...it's fun gimping spacies though :3

No doubt, Esam is very capable of getting the win. I 2 stocked his Samus game 2 (aka the game where I stocked talking to him lmao) and then he CP'd Fox on FoD. Don't think he won't switch out on you. haha

Darrell is WAY better with Samus than Esam btw. I should know, I lost to him in pools and in bracket at ROM. lmao
