It's certainly not something I would want someone to hear me listening to, but I like it. It's cute and clever and Zelda 2 is my favorite 2D Zelda. And the production/composition is really well done.

See how much just a real regular ocarina is first. Just to see how badly you are getting ripped of first. If you whant an ocarina that badly just by a regular one and paint blue with a gold ring (I am presuming you mean the Oot and not the fariy ocarina, but I could be wrong.)

$80 ocarina? Well, considering most woodwind/brass instruments are hundreds of dollars, $80 isn't so bad for an ocarina. Although, it might be best to compare it with other ocarina prices.

Why wouldn't Aryll be Link's real sister? Is there anything to suggest that she isn't?

As for being raised by his Grandma, there's no backstory to that given in-game.

It was heavily implied in the SNES version of ALttP, but the suggestive dialogue was fixed with the GBA port.

How was that heavily implied? Wasn't it just speculation since the sentence was never completed by Link's Uncle? It could be finished off by anything, including "sister" and "destiny." Hell, that could have been "brother," knowing how crazy the Japanese are.

Where else can we make the correlation of Zelda and Sister to make it a heavy implication?

I don't think there was any gameshark/action replay type of thing, but I'm sure there's a texture mod floating around somewhere that lets you play as Zelda.

I could edit Link into Zelda using texture mods, but it would extremely awkward. As far as I know, though, there aren't any AR or GS codes that let you change characters at all.

Wow, all of this texture talk reminds me that I should be uploading a new update for the OoT texture pack. I'm actually not too far from completing the entire game.

It's not a texture mod, it's somewhat similar to how you controlled a Wampa in Shadows of the Empire. Can't really explain, but it's not like you're really playing as the ReDead so much as controlling its path of movement.

So I have been going on a Nintendo binge. I think it might have been caused due to the fact I lost my FFXII 280 hr file data. It could also be the only non-nintendo system I own is ps/ps2 (getting a ps3 soon though for old games + their awesome rpgs) Regardless, I'm playing Metroid Prime Trilogy / Pokemon / Oot/MM (about to beat OoT) / and SMG2.

I've been looking at various soundtracks from these games and considered buying them. (Ridley MP1 theme + Elite 4 + OoT whole soundtrack + SMG2 bowser music = win)

But then the nerdiest thing stumbled upon me in the form of a trollspammer here.

I was in the band for 3 years in junior high. I wanted to play the flute but it felt too feminine, and when I saw Link I was like "playing that would be so ******"

<_< I'm seriously considering saving up to get this. That would be the coolest thing ever to own.

And I'm not trying to advertise them, I just like the way it looks/sounds

FFXIII (Despite the linearity, I have to play it 100% through)
FFXIII the better version (whenever it comes out)
Dragon Age (<3)
White Knight Chronicles
That game you just mentioned (never heard it but I'll take your word on it)

+ Some ps old games, I'd like FFtactics/FFVIII + If they ever added SO1/2.

I'm such an rpger at heart, but I've been hooked on Nintendo forever, partially due to the lack of money XD.

But I'm working soon and what I'm not saving goes to that <.<.

Cool. WKC was supposed to be pretty average though so maybe you should just wait for the sequel to see if that one's any better? All the other games you listed are pretty good though, and you also may want to look into Valkyria Chronicles if you like Tactical RPGs.

Oh yes I forgot about those as well. I can't wait for all of that, I've been wanting a PS3 solely for rpgs, 360 has a lot too, but I don't know, I've always been with Sony.

I really want that ocarina, so bad....

FF tactics isn't an RPG, also, if you have a PS3, you can download FFVII and FFIX (7+9) from the PSN store, I think they plan to release 8 soon too.

While I'm utterly flattered that you put me on the level of Spire, I am not Spire.

And it's not really a Fallout 3 kind of game or a Final Fantasy kind of game. It's an action RPG, so it's like Fallout in that respect, but it's incredibly hard (Fallout, like most games, is pretty easy) and is more of a swords and magic kind of game, no guns or anything haha.

It's a video of the Japanese version, but there's no difference in the actual gameplay, just the menus look a bit different in the English version.

Looks cool. And I own the original copies of FF7/9 (my FF7 is worth quite a bit apparently) <3 Cloud's little adventure. It may be overrated to most, but it was a beautiful game to me.
