Anaal Nathrakh are so much fun :)

Speaking of new albums, the Hungarians newest works are every bit as awesome as expected:

Thy Catafalque, Rengeteg, avant-garde metal (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAgvS0aMsOM song is Trilobita. Though it's pretty hard to find a song that is a accurate description of the album, since they are pretty diverse)

Dalriada, Ígéret, folk metal (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9F7b4skyUy4 song is Hajdútánc. A bit easier here to find a song that expresses the spirit of the album; well, they are a folk metal band, and not some "post metal, we do what we feel like" band :) )

Two of my favourite albums of 2011, I'd happily recommend them to about anyone (:

haha, the latter reminds me of the Rusyn dancing/singing stuff my mom does.
WAY folky. Like, is that a full-time mandolin player? lol, that's kind of cool. and the harpsicord and all that. I feel like they're almost parody, but wouldn't be surprised if they were offended if I suggested such a thing.

ooo, 12 songs and half of them are more than 6 minutes. will be checking out

tbh, LT, I think the guy's clean vocals do a huge service to some of the songs. That's just me though :p

found a great quality clip of the live medley of old school songs BTBAM has been doing on this tour

http://youtu.be/ncS8AMk-q04

i gotta say, hearing the ending of fire for a dry mouth was one of the best live experiences of my life. i LOVE that part so much and i was not expecting to ever hear it live. i 2stepped so hard. the only thing missing from this medley is the ending to Use of a Weapon

Huh? Who said anything about Machine Head?

or is The Locust also the name of a MH song/album?

The Locust is the ****. I don't listen to them a lot myself but they are a huge influence on basically all the bands I love so mad props.

they also did an awesome split with my favorite noise group Melt Banana which is another group I have to see before I die

Agata is legit in my top 5 guitarists of all time even though people think I'm crazy when I say so.

I think I might do a favorite guitarists list actually...might be fun

I'm not Japanese, but I'm really liking Girugamesh lately. Not really their new stuff, since I haven't listened to it, but their older stuff like Smash, CRAZY-FLAG, Barricade, etc.

Anyone else?

yeah I know, I just like how it's not that they pronounce the correctly spelled version the way they do, but that they actually spell it post-dialect

Faceless is great. I don't like Planetary Duality that much though. I wish their new **** would hurry the **** up and come out.

also if you like Faceless check out Spawn of Possession. Faceless cribbed a lot of ideas from this band.

I like The Faceless because they are more diverse, but SOP just kills it a hundred times more imo. they also have a third album coming out this year!

Devil Driver I think is the only one I'd be interested in.
I haven't heard much those other names, are they also kind of groovey?

And not gonna lie, I had a hardy lol when I heard Dying Fetus' vocalist

I haven't heard a JFAC song since this one in sophomore year

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-x95Q0SJfY

that scream at 29s is just pure classic hahahaha

my favorite Faceless song is "Leica"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kiK0S87fXo

My favorite Wretched song....that's a tough one....Wretched is probably my fav band on that bill. They're like the only good band on Victory records now lol.

I guess I'll go with "Cimmerian Shambala"

Yo Luigitoilet. You linked that Cave Moth EP awhile ago (like 40 pages) and I thought I would just come back into this thread to say that it's really good. I want to hear a full length production quality album from those guys. Also i'll probably be actively posting in this thread from now on. The Faceless and JFAC are so good.
