Wretched, did you know if you search "Kawaii uguu" into google images the 3rd or 4th result is the pic your avatar came from?

Sorry for the off topic post BTW.

Now this is awesome. I'm not sure about the vocals though. They seem too weak and timid for the music. Love the atmospherics of the instrumentals
As a whole, meh, but I LOVE the guitar work.
I actually am the singer, and honestly, I can't help but agree with you. You have no idea how badly I want to re-record everything. I am glad you liked it too! The demo was a great learning experience for me, and I have been getting lessons ever since to help exactly that, and I personally think I have improved 10 fold.

We are going to start recording a full length album this winter so I will post it when we are done =p

@Wretched Our guitarrist will be excited to hear that =p

Great to see a guy who can take criticism well and just go and improve himself because of it.

Attitude of a winner right there.

I also now possess everything Wretched have ;)

I'm enjoying them immensely.

Hehe, thanks!

I felt terrible about the album, though i didn't think it was bad I just thought it wasn't living up to its potential...especially for me. Money stopped us from re-doing some parts whether it be vocals or keyboards or whatever.

We are going all ****ing out on this full length album, so hopefully it won't disappoint.

I suppose you would call this metal covers of video game music.

I found this guy a while ago and I just never get sick of listening to him.

He is simply amazing, technically perfect.

I get mad sometimes watching him.

If you like/play guitar this guy is a joy to listen to.

I assume you have heard of Powerglove? Greatest videogame metal cover band alive. I saw them live with Mutiny Within and Sonata Arctica. Spectacular show.

Yeah, live they were amazing. Metal Kombat for the mortal man, they gave the crowd inflatable swords and axes and everyone battled in the mosh pit. And they bribed us with starbursts when they had technical difficulties.

Yeah, only a few people were moshing.

It is video game power metal, power metal...or genre ins generally doesn't have to do with pitch.

...uh, sure!

so my buddies have this goofy band going on. I'm not a huge fan (gay Faceless-style growls. Ithink the guitarist is amazing but the drummer is just obsessed with generic blastbeats) but they just put out a new song which I have to say, I'm digging it-

song's "Cocketship"
wuhwuhwuh
That's pretty sweet for a goofoff band.
I'll post some of my band stuff as soon as I find everything but a vocalist <3

Korn is nu-metal. I don't think they're particularly heavier than other nu-metal bands, either. I might be wrong though, as I'm not that familiar with a lot of it because I don't like nu-metal for the most part.

System Of A Down is the heaviest nu-metal band. I actually tend to like SOAD quite a lot, especially for a nu-metal band. I don't have that much against nu-metal, it's just too close to hard rock for me to consider it legitimate metal.

People should venture into the ridiculous metal bands that I have been introduced to at metalisfav.forumsmusic.com

people listen to ridiculous stuff

I'm not saying that it isn't enjoyable, I enjoy some stuff that is just noisy.
but grindcore is ridiculous, as palpi stated earlier that people listen to ridiculous stuff.
They don't even try.

I think people should try to give some Folk Metal and Black Metal a chance.

Google some folk bands like, Equilibrium, Ensiferum, Eluvietie (sp?), Tyr, Agalloch.

I am not big on black metal, but bands like Alatyr, Kuldvas, Summoning ... all amazing

I am actually more into power metal, for I like catchy melodies better...but this stuff is cool.
