If Lucas makes it back in, I'm using him and Ness first.

Inb4 Ness is out, that'd be a sad day.

Lucas scares me because Idk if he's staying, if he doesn't stay I'll cry my eyes out.

If they add another Mother character, it's more than likely going to be Pokey, Ninten, or Masked Man/Claus, (Jeff is possible too do to him being an assist trophy)

Reason being, Mother has no evil characters yet in Smash, they either will add Mother 1's main character, or an evil character imo.

I don't think there's going to be another character for Mother though... I'm already worried for Lucas staying, more than likely there's going to be a replace, removal, or just Lucas and Ness than another Mother character joining the Brawl.

The only thing protecting them is Sakurai loves the Mother series, there was even a Mr Saturn hidden on a brawl stage.

And Mother was HUGE in Japan, Idk if it still is (probably).

What do you guys think?

Since Ness was in the past three games, I really feel he is more likely to make it back then others, even moreso than Lucas. Porky would be very interesting to see in the next brawl.

I think you are correct in saying that Lucas/Ness may possibly stay but that's it with those two and probably not another character being added because other franchises could offer more than adding more Earthbound/Mother. I mean Ness was alone till Brawl had Lucas so hopefully they will just keep Ness/Lucas.

I hope they keep Ness/Lucas and I think The Masked Man would be better, I love Claus, and he has a sword/jetpack.

I would gladly make a Lucas/Claus team.

I'll still be happy if Ness/Lucas both stay in the game.

I think Sakurai is obsessed with Mr. Saturns though, on the artwork board, neither Lucas or Ness appeared, but Mr. Saturn appeared...

Hahaha I really doubt Mr. Saturn would get into the game and that would be a hilarious thing to do on Sakurai's part.

You have me curious now. What other characters, besides from the Mother/Earthbound series, do you see as a possibility making it into Smash4?

The only ones I find that would have a possibility are...

Mother 1 - Ninten

Mother 2 - Jeff

Mother 3 - Kumatora (If they want to give Ness/Lucas their original abilities and bring an actual user of offensive PSI)

More Mother 3 - Masked Man, Pokey, Claus

The Masked Man (Claus) and Pokey are both evil and are probably more likely than everyone and are about equal to Ninten.

Claus will most likely be another character skin again, BUT I hope they make his voice/hair different, maybe make him like the Wario suit, I would seriously LOVE Sakurai if he did that.

Also guys, new final smash for Link was leaked, it's obv going to be him attacking a chicken, then they fly all over the stage killing everyone even Link

I would love that to be his final smash lol, game of tag, you have 3 hearts and if you get tagged 3 times instant KO like the ultimate chimera.

Not really sure what other characters might get in.

I guess Krom from Fire Emblem, not really sure.

I know what you mean Blue. Most of the fun part of first getting a new smash game is finding out what all of the default characters can do, and then playing a lot to unlock the new characters and test them out. With the SSE everything happened so fast, you could unlock like every character in like half a day. I didn't even know Ness was an unlockable character in Smash 64 until like two years ago, and I used to play that game 24/7 when I was a kid

Wow xD I figured you would've known, but honestly I hope they make it so it takes weeks maybe, or just a few days of hard work to unlock the cast, I really hate getting everyone right away, kinda fun to start with a few and see what they can do, then get more.

I love the set of me against Stingers. Rob vs lucas is a very tuff matchup. I'm happy I pulled it through. Stingers is real good.

Even tho I got slaughtered by Esam's ice-climbers this time(because he adapted), I will be ready next time. I've already analyzed the match and found my mistakes. I saw the difference between me getting strings on him and getting grabbed in WF. I'm going to implement the good parts into my gameplay and not do the bad parts haha.

Well Mekos 3-0'd him but most of it was last-hit last stock.

I'm about to watch the third video vs. ESAM.

However, Mekos, I have notes on your matches that would hopefully help you improve against ICs because I see what was some of your mistakes were and how to possibly correct/improve them. (from the WF)

I've always felt it's a -2 MU more than a -1. He is so annoying but after watching Mekos vs. Stinger, I think I have been approaching the MU wrong so I can see the light I guess on -1.

The cost scares me ;_; If it's anything over like 150 dollars I don't think I could go.

My parents aren't exactly the most giving parents, didn't even get anything for my Birthday xD

I really wanna go to Apex, and you know, I know for a FACT I will place bad, but it'd be nice to at least place and say I tried! Heck, maybe I'd place somewhat decent for a first timer...

Also, next Smash Lucas will probably be changed a lot just sayin'.

Dude just go and try! I thought I would do terrible at MLG but I actually did a heck of a lot better and ended up doing really well in my brackets (Till I bumped into M2K haha, but still!) You won't know how you do till you try. I also hadn't played brawl since MLG and went to a tournament and won some money. If I can do it, Blue, than you most certainly can as well.

And who knows, you could possibly find a way to go to Apex since it isn't till January.

Why not show us some videos of your Lucas?
