What don't you agree with?

A lot actually. But I have been talking to a member of the BBR about it so yeah. Hit me up on skype sometime you busy college student.

Top 8 at nationals is pretty great especially for Lucas.

Also, I'd like to play some of you guys too, I've played Mekos and FAE, wanna fight some more good Lucas just to see if there's anything else I can learn that'd be nice to have.

Maybe soon I can go to offline tournies, it's a shame I live in Tennessee -.-

I'm not as good as Mekos/FAE but I do play Lucas solely as my character so definitely just hit me up sometime.

How to beat FAE, he'll try to gimp you so just magnet when he PKTslides off stage, I trolled him with it and killed 2 of his stocks LOL.

He's probably either gonna get mad like he does when this happens to him, or just forget that it ever happened.

Mekos tho, almost beat him although I doubt the match was serious, usually 2 stocked me with high % at his 2nd, then a few close matches, super fun though.

I'd love to play you

Also this is probably common sense, but just make sure not to overuse PKF against G&W.
(Yeah I haven't played against any G&W's unfortunately)

Also I'm restricted by age (14 years old atm) and my dad says I have to be 15 or older to be out alone... >__>

I think Brawl would be dead by next year because of Smash 4. (Actually I'm not sure if it comes out in 2013 or 2014 XP) If it comes out in 2014, then I'd probably have a year to truly experience the Brawl world. =P

Any advice for the G&W matchup? Campy/Aggro?

I like always lose to any G&W it's horrible.

G&W is really bull****,but try to camp him with pk fire sometimes(don't spam it too much because of his bucket) and try to read him,he dies ridiculous early for our smash attacks.

Also, you seem to be in the Arena a lot so maybe we can battle each other sometime for fun haha.

Well my classic controller is having problems (pf freeze instead of pk fire,egg roll instead of egg throw,the character move to a wrong position and other things)
I need a new controller...

the mu is bs though, bair beats pk fire
bair beats everything actually

be careful though as the third bucket has less lag, you cant punish it with usmash.
but yeah bait a bucket at high percents, then kill.
also a 3 pk fires is nothing, kills at like 70%. not worth it for the GaW

Thanks, and yeah I know about the 3rd bucket, I tried some things out yesterday and I think I know what I wanna do, I'll just spam PK Fire because honestly, after he buckets it 3 times, it's not even powerful lol. Just gotta keep camping.

mindset vs GaW is probably my hardest (olimar being second).
HE JUST LOOKS THE SAME WHATEVER HE'S DOING D:
but yeah, practise your mindset vs this character, its hard to play exactly by theory

I'm really bad with Lucas and I don't have as much fun playing him as I used to. I still main him in doubles, and he's my secondary in singles. I just won't be using him nearly as often

FAE if you think you're bad with him you need to think again, else you wouldn't be 3rd in the US, you know the techs, and his game.

And yeah, G&W's smashes get me because they're so fast/sudden. :\

Yeah, his bucket lags him but I'm pretty sure you gotta PKF cancel, so just jump and do it, after he buckets hurry and USmash him, if that's too slow, all other attacks should work anyways.

Well except PSI attacks.

Well incase you ever want to try the Lucas matchup, I'd suggest only recovering with zap jump, I honestly think Lucas should never use his double jump just because this matchup is horrible, what happened to the matchup thread btw? If someone were to revive it I'd help out, and so would others hopefully.

I think newer Lucas mains need some matchup data(NEWER), or basic data on strategy.

I would like to discuss low tier MUs.

And Bowser is even,not -1,that MU chart is dumb.

Bowser is combo'd fairly easily by Lucas, Idk what the matchup would be though but I'd definitely share what I know.

Anybody have information if we can get the matchups thing going again?

Got bored in class today after I was the first one done with my work, thought I'd share these with you guys.

- Don't get grabbed,Bowser has bull**** Grab release>almost everything.
- Camp him all day.
- Punish approachs with Pivot Grab,Dair or Nair(maybe Fair but it's dangerous because Bowser's attack range beats it)
- Make good use of Uuntilts specially at low %s to some juggles.
- Dthrow kills him without DI at 160% on Final Destination(can change depending of the stage)
- Edgeguard him hard with PK thunder (yay!!)
- No problem recovering here,unless you're under the stage and don't know how to zap jump.

Haha I was thinking of bumping the thread but I would have to get rPSI to update the OP so we could discuss it more. I will be trying to do more work around here lately in terms of MUs, but we have had exports being done and other boards have helped correct a few.

I'll get to it when I get back from dinner tonight and am done running the veto comp for Big Brother.

@FAE: Liar, you aren't bad. When good people say they are bad at a character it's just ugh because they don't realize how good they are.

They weren't recorded but Galeon won against Loli most of the time, I believe she won a couple of the earlier ones but Galeon won the remainder iirc.
