DK can grab release infinite after 10 or so % and grab release down smash, down tilt, stuff like that. he's pretty good all around, other than that.

yooooo lucas mains just got back from tourney and I got first in dubs with my boy Esam and second in Singles.

Woah it was tuff. I had to go Super Saiyan 2 to beat Stingers(Rob) and Kadaj(Marth), both very hard matchups for lucas. But my power level was high enuff to beat Esam's Samus! We played on SV 3 times. Each time I got closer and the third game I won. U know how we Saiyans get stronger each beating right? lol. But then he switched up the planet we fought on and took it to a place called the battlefield. I couldn't adapt fast enuff and he won . Now I gotta go back to the hyper bolic time chamber and get to SS3. Although that is not a priority since I don't enter singles often(doubles player baby).
Well that's my update yall. Later Vid will be up soon of dubs and singles. The singles matches were hype. Doubles was destruction as usual.
Oh yea and I had to face one player(Arch) who went Marth just to try and infinite me(He had been training to do this for a while. I could sense this). It was tuff and I had to use alot of mental power but it was a blessing in disguise cuz it just got me ready for Kadaj.

Wow, good ****! I've been spamming games vs Lee Martin as much as I can, trying to advance the Lucas metagame a bit. What do you like to fall to the stage with? I feel like If I'm coming down with a vertical trajectory dair doesn't work very well; I've been trying to ff upair and that seems to be working a bit. I'm curious because this can be one of Lucas' worst positions I feel like, especially vs mk.

@Eso - dair works well. U need to space it so that when u land u can follow up with something right after like another jump, nair, etc. Also I like to end with hitting the outside of their shield. I'm not sure if I understand yer question that well. Let me know if I answered it. Also, I hope u can find yer answer by watching the singles vids. Maybe it is in there.

Mekos how do you feel about yoshi islands as a stage for lucas? Is it bad for him if so why and if not why also.

I used to hate it because the middle platform messed up my aerial game...mainly my ability to punish with dair.

But recently I really like it. I just realize that if I wanna play my aerial game I have to bait and punish my opponent on the edge where the sky is free. Some people say it may mess up lucas recovery but it's not that bad. It messes with everyone's recovery really. The slants allow for lucas to have some nice slides after pk fire. The main way I die is upward and the ceiling is really high on YI so that helps me.

I also learned to use the platform to my advantage as u see in the final match vs Kadaj.
Master Lucas' recovery on YI and u will be fine.

First, I freaking enjoyed the match you had with Stinger and I learn a few things and gaves me some Ideas. Now, about YI...I always like to bait my opponent and use the shi guy to my advantage. True story and this happen a few years back. I was playing at Yoshis and my opponent was on the other side. I up smash a shi guy...and till this day, I couldn't figure out how my opponent got hit with it. I literally was on the other side of the stage. But yea, I figured that Shi-guys have the ability to stall moves or some odd priority. And also depend on shi-guys position.
Just saying.

@One piece - I'm pretty sure the shy guy does stall moves but I've never experience up smashing him and it hurting someone on the other side. That is really cool!! haha Awesome!

Yeah when u hit a shy guy with an attack it prolongs the hitboxes just like if u were to Usmash/Dsmash on the barrels of Brinstar. This also works on many other stages. The statues on transformation 2 of Castle Siege is a good one too to trick your opponent.

In other news... I'm coming back! I've been gone way too long and it's time I get back into it for a little while longer yet. Not sure which tourney will be my first one back though. Hopefully one soon.

Ahh yes, when you hit those things that hold the platforms down in Brinstar it prolong it... I love Fsmashing those or Dsmashing. :D
