I bought a new pair of running shoes 2 weeks ago, I was straight gushin' over em. I still girl out every time someone says they like my shoes (very often)

Had to present the results of my dissertation to three professors today.

They liked the study and said it could get published in the British Medical Journal ^_^ In reality, this will probably not happen. But it still sounds like I can get a publication somewhere, which is awesome.


Also, finally caught the stupid kids throwing things at my house a week ago. When I went outside to confront them, they ran away like little girls and I yelled things at them. They haven't been back since. I think they thought they were gonna get beaten up. I was just gonna give them a stern talk lol.

I am also happy because I start going to Job Corps on Monday.

Also I have the same pair of basketball shoes, converse, and backpack since 2004. I DID just recently buy a nice pair of interview shoes which would also work nicely if I ever needed to work in a kitchen since they're oil resistant and no-slip.

I had the same backpack for like 10 years, then I had to throw it away because a concert in Mexico wouldn't let me in with a backpack, after waiting in line in the shadeless Mexico summer for 14 hours. My options were to go back to the hotel and drop my backpack off, or toss it in the ****ing garbage. yeah. I bought one later at a mexican wal-mart for the equivalent of like 3 US dollars, and I've been using that for about 2 years now.
