All weather is ****ing broken. You thought Kingdra with swift swim was bad, try dealing with sandrush excadrill. ****ing ********.

I'm guessing Sand Rush + Sand Stream will end up getting banned just like Swift Swim + Drizzle...can't ban one but not the other... or I guess you could unban both lol. I'm not really playing that rain dance team anymore anyway, I made a really tanky team out of a bunch of random gen.5 high defense/hp pokemon and I'm having way more success and fun with it.

iunno, I'd rather all perma-weather effects be banned. Just feels like weather wars. And if I wanted a game like that, I'd play Ubers (and I do).

I don't know if weather is broken, but I do know that I hate it with a passion. Gen 5 is already going to be sort of stupid with a lot of perfectly viable "UU" pokemon who will walk all over unprepared teams.

Smogon's currently doing the first UU cutoff right now, actually. It'll be interesting to see what's below the cutoff.

I think UU will end up being THE metagame to play. I guess Nintendo was right when they said they wanted it to be RBY all over again.

I actually think that tons of bans is the right thing for them to do right now. Either that, or scrap OU and just play Ubers with Kyogre banned or something

Played Melee on a system with a texture hack that made Dream Land look like Battlefield and the texture was mindgaming me all game. "wtf why is there wind on battlefield" >.>

Bait robs dsmash..spotdodge>dsmash is still used by every rob when your beside them,sheild and punish...lasers follow up gyros usually keep your trigger finger ready..if robs in the air be patient and wait for him to lower himself before you start trying to punish attacks,his nair can kill vertically quickly if you get too sloppy..dont stay at the end of the stage when rob is at the edge,his uair pokes..if you use mk,cross up ftilt/dtilt/dsmashes...dash attack nair or uair works too..its 2am and even though im bored im too lazy to write more from my phone

That was a ******** texture, I know exactly what you're talking about. Textures should at least resemble the stage they're on. I'm going mostly with my textures for stuff that at looks like the original stage, is just as (or less) distracting than the original, and has the same lighting. Oh, and stages which would hide Snake's C4 still do, and stages which wouldn't, don't.

*edit* hey, would y'all mind giving me feedback on my choices of textures for friendlies/smashfests? I'm not a good standard to measure distractiveness of a stage, since the only kind of thing I find distracting is Lylat Cruise, but that's just when I focus on paying attention to the tilt of the stage.

ROB's can mix it up lol. Hold the Gyro. Gyro > approach. Etc. Its just not that simple basically.

His Nair also pokes.

Using pit. Like i said, close range Jab's. His Ftilt outsranges you. Get in where you can hit him. Pit loses medium range. Ftilt, and the Gyro can hit you.

Startup on the nado is too much. Possibly a nair. II'm not sure if counterattacking is that effective/guaranteed. The only thing I know of is Marth can upB out of it. Like SDi'ing out of Pikachu's Dsmash, I've never actually seen that get counterattacked. The knock back when u SDi sends you too far for Pikachu, and far enough for ROB.

I doubt that SS+Sand Rush will be banned, but I'm not sure, Smogon can be weird sometimes. Although sand has residual damage, it doesn't completely wreck **** like rain does, and it can be countered a lot easier than rain because of this. Excadrill is hella dangerous, I still think Kingdra was worse. We'll see though.

Also, does anybody have MvC3 for PS3 here? I just got a stick recently, trying to relearn playing a game that I suck at already is mighty difficult.

Took me a couple days just to get my demon flips to come out properly. When I first got it, I thought my stick was broken lol. Give it a couple days, it will feel natural.

Hook Worlds is the best dollar I ever spent. Axe in Face was the 2nd best.

As for free ones, Geared and Geared 2, any free Sudoku if you're into that, and there's a game called Collider that's pretty cool.

As for stuff that's actually useful and not just games: RedLaser turns your camera into a barcode reader to scan goods and it will tell you where you can get what you scanned cheapest, Genius Scan can scan printed documents into modifiable text documents, Shazam can tell you what song is playing if you hold it up to a radio/speaker if you don't know, UrbanSpoon uses the GPS to find nearby places to eat (best app ever when travelling to tourneys)... there's also an app called FreeAppADay that's almost like the legal way of jailbreaking your phone; it updates everyday with 2-3 apps that normally cost money but are free for that day only.

also, somethings up with my iphone headphone jack, it only plays music through one ear, i know that the headphones arent the problem cuz they work on anything else, any headphones i plug in the iphone play through one ear so i know its the iphone what can i do to fix it

Don't know and don't know, sorry. I've only had my iphone a few months, haven't run into any headphone problems yet, and I have a massive music library on my computer that my phone is synced to on iTunes so I haven't really had a reason to seek other methods of storing music.

I think I have heard something about storing music files separate from the ipod/itunes...think it had something to do just with changing their file format and using an app to play that format, but I really don't know :/
