I agree with everyone else...they are completely different.

SOAD seems more like a dark group rather than Maximum the hormone...unless you count Zetsubou Billy, which has a semi-dark setting, but it's supposed to be related to Deathnote so it doesn't matter.

Not to mention...I like MtH over SOAD.

EDIT: read this in the comments section on the Koi no Megalover song:

MtH is pretty lulzy in general. Zetsubou Billy is an anime OST song, so you can't even count it, lol. I wouldn't say they're completely different, since you can draw topical parallels, but they are different enough to be considered something pretty far outside of J-SOAD.

Also, I love how God Kai topic has turned into awesome J-metal discussion.

Anything that's upbeat and off the wall is generally okay with me.

I'm not getting into musical theory here, but SOAD and MtH have several things in common as far as sound goes >_>

If it's at Cincy state then I can't come because I have no ride. And I can't ride my bike there it'll take hours... >n<;

So looks like no smashing for awhile with Cincinnati for me I guess! A little disappointed but I'll do! Sorry guys! It was nice playing with you in the past~ Enjoy yourselves.

If its at Days that would be fine but everytime we schedule for there it like never happens/works out.IDK why it never works out but it never does.if we cant make a decision I can go out and do other stuff(like homework) I have tomorrow completely free from school and work and realistically it MIGHT be better to do Days house since ppl would have to pay for parking to show up.

All in all PLEASE ppl just decide either C-state or Days house. I really dont care either way I'd just like for SOME KIND OF PLANNING to go on for these things.
