$mike is also a rising falcon. NC doesn't get much publicity, but since he's goin to college in massachussets, i believe EC will have their run ins with him soon enough. i expect to see him in the bracket at APEX as well. i hope hax mm's him like he wanted at herb 3 so he can show some people the business.

I def agree you have to approach playing Marth the way CFs/low tiers approach it. Stick out those crappy matchups and get better at them than the opposition. I have taken this stance for a long time now and play Marth and Marth only.

As of now I only have 2 crappy MU's with Marth. Sheik and Another Marth. Oddly enough I do better against sheiks though then I do against another Marth simply because playing another Marth to me is like....seeing a dinosaur with a business suit carrying a suitcase walking down the street. It's like...wtf is that!? Marth is That horrible but he's not as great as people think. At least not from an auto-win point of view.

In 2010 Marth is not look at as the invincible character he once was looked at back in Ken days and then later M2K's prime time. It takes more then a chain-grab on Spacies or a Ken-Combo to be good with Marth. Which is why most have flee'd to the other top tier characters.

dude i am all about dr. pp. im a fanboy. i think he's an amazing player, a good guy, and is improving at an incredible rate. however, i dont think he has top 3 on lock. he has like a 25% chance of beating m2k if he comes, at best, a zero percent chance of beating mango if he comes, about 50-50 with hbox. he'll probably get ****ed up by armada (are there any peach players in NC at that level? are there any peach players anywhere at that level?), if amsah were coming he'd **** up dr pp too, etc. dr pp will probably get top 8, i believe in that. i hope he gets top 3, but he'd have to put out an amazing performance to make top 3. he's amazing, but he's not THAT amazing.

lol@ Wobbling being gay. In that case I wouldn't be shocked of Wobbles gets top 5 and where is Chu? He did good without wobbling so with Wobbling who knows he might win. BTW I need to talk to Wobbles at this and get some things straightened out. Some people think i'm a hater/hate wobbles which is untrue. I actually like his style of IC's(minus wobbling)He is one of 2 IC's players that I'll actually watch play. I have been working on an alt in the event Wobbling got unbanned anyway so I'm not as worried as before .

Marths have a reason to whine though. Nobody has made so great of a drop in terms of influence and overall respect as a character then Marth has in recent years. Only people who never play against Marth's see him as a huge threat.

What, are you trying to say winning at a high level with Marth isn't hard? Aight, then do it yourself hotshot.

All I am saying is that sticking with Marth is hard, especially in some of his tougher matchups, because of his high learning curve, so people decide to use other characters (like Fox) to make it easier for them. What part of that is whiny?

And, since Mango's been winning all the major international tournies, I always had the impression of "OH MAN, JIGGZ IS ON THE RISE!" But Fox still consistently wins most tourneys/top X in tourneys (according to that one "tier list" somewhere...).
