Yeah, but Dark Sonic I've beaten you with like ALL of my characters (each in different tourney sets)...so I'm pretty sure I know how you play well enough that by F-0's criteria it wouldn't be fair...
Oh and you act as if I have Marth experience...only Marth I ever play is ummmm...YOU when we play!!!
LOL
Well, that's really you just being a better player than me. You'd beat me regardless of how often we played, since you just play so much smarter.
The point is, of all the Falcon's participating I feel you're the only one that I
can't beat (and I still think I could take a match of you in a set). The others I've either beaten before or simply don't know them. And even the people who I've beaten, that was a long time ago and it will be interesting to see the improvements everybody made.
It also feels like people are stretching his criteria beyond what it really states. He said that knowing the random smasher's play styles was a flaw...he didn't say that it could (or even should) be fixed or accounted for when selecting the smashers. He said that the character selection was a flaw too, but that could be interpreted many ways. To me, it seems more like it would be a problem of matchup experience, to which I say...the best Falcon is the one who knows the matchups better than all others.
Anyway, I certainly do like the theory behind it, but I'm not sure what level of random smashers would really be needed in order to pull this off. If the random smashers beat all of the challengers, then everyone is tied in wins and no progress was made. But to bring in players who you know will get beaten is also a flaw (kinda disqualifies me doesn't it?), since the benchmark could only be set based upon who we "feel" is the best of the challengers.
But really guys, it's a free event so what's with all the complaining? It's a fun idea and I'm sure we'll have a blast doing it, forget all these minor details.
