Soo, this might not perfectly fit, but I figured this is still probably the best place to ask anyway.

I am absolutely **** at vertical shooters. Like, laughably so, but I really was hoping to get the story, background of touhou without just reading lifeless wiki articles. Any 'cut above the rest' fan games (rpgs, vn's, whatever ) that follows the story atleast decently well, so that I can start to get into this whole toeho 'thing'.

just play the game in easy mode since most of the other stuff is fan-based speculations for the most part

esp there being a lot of inside jokes and touhou girl x touhou girl

maybe doujinstyle has a thread on the universe and story

ok so just so you guys know

and this is the most important thing I will EVER tell you guys:

the rurouni kenshin live action movie is one of the greatest movies of all time and got me roughly as pumped as watching Genesis 1 grand finals

and, for comparison's sake, I lost my voice at Genesis 1

All the reviews I have seen say it is not only true to the manga, the casting and acting are also near perfection. Toph is there a dub out yet that you know of? I'm super hyped.

Too bad the recent Rurouni Kenshin OVAs couldn't deliver. :ohwell:

And I guess I'll be looking forward to watching the live action movie along with the Ace Attorney movie when those become available.

What show(s) are you referring to, exactly?

I can think of a few like that, but it's not consistent enough to be a trend...unless you count Shaft with Madoka and Bakemonogatari, but that's Shaft... XD (And Madoka got a legitimate reason [although Shaft was probably glad that they got to delay it <_<].)

i heard heart connect was doing something like that, but all of a sudden tank girls decided to delay the final 2 episodes for a couple of months

i guess i'm just bugged that they did it to the anime i wanted to finish

I think Kokoro Connect got an extension to the series after it started, so they couldn't secure more TV slots. Plus, if they are specials on the disc release, they'll likely get a bigger budget and look better, anyway. But yeah, waiting for it is a pain.

For those watching Chuunibyou and haven't watched the Lite mini-episodes, I would now suggest that you watch them before finishing the main series.

That is all!

Are you joking me LOLLL

Anyone here watching Magi? I just marathoned like 9 episodes yesterday with a friend, and I feel like I'm only still watching it because middle eastern pride hahaha
I was watching Magi. I liked it, but I'm behind. Gonna catch up on it later though.
Planning on catching/finishing up with stuff like Chhunibyou, SAO, and JJBA first.

8 is appropriate

lost its spark after a few episodes, kyoani quality sure, but it lived and died on its gimmicks

honestly think sakurasou might be the best thing im watching this season

Sakurasou and Chuunibyou is tied to me, both is are in my book of bad***. Then again, there is a lot of bad*** animes in Fall. Only godlike anime is Bakuman 3.

Gintama and Hayate the Combat Butler Can't Take My Eyes Off You disappointed me this season. D:
