Exactly. They're so bad by themselves, but so good for modding.

I'm considering getting a Mayflash, if only because it works with a ps2 too.

That it does. Mine currently works for PS2, PS3, PC, GC, Wii. The GC/Wii adapter was about $5 iirc. So basically everything but 360. The adapter for 360 costs $100 and the stick was only $30, so screw that, I just bought a separate stick for 360. XD

thats the thing though
the game has not given me any information of use about Hitomi at all
here's whats going on
im at school lunch is almost over and i get to the kiosk where all the good things are sold out
and since nobody likes the crab rolls thats basically whats left. i buy one sweet toast roll and one crab roll
all of a sudden i notice my stepsister hitomi (who just moved in). she was lost and apparently to shy to ask for help
we go to the kiosk and everything is sold out! its implied that the crab rolls are not that good and he wants to be a good brother but on the other hand he doesn't like them either.
also he likes her and doesn't want a sibling relationship but more
idk ive only been playing for 30 mins and have had like 10+ decisions already O_o

i don't know what i want yet
my decisions in games for my 1st run are always final
i like to get sucked into the story and enjoy it. trying to get a good ending the 1st time at least
after that is when i go back and dissect the game, having save points for every single decision. Lol

edit: hitomi is a *****!! i went with giving her the sweet roll
and at first was happy than noticed i wasn't enjoying the crab roll
she won't eat it and has the nerve to say "onii-san im sorry you wouldn't have suffered if i wasn't here"
i give up the sweet roll so she can be happy eating it.
its all in vain she doesn't eat the roll or show me her smile.

ya i kinda suck at getting them to work

if you consider the Higurashi no naku koro ni sound novels then ive played almost all of them
and ive played Shuffle! visual novel a lot,
Final was able to get the Kanon VN to work and gave it to me but the resolution is messed up so i can't see whats going on

My guess is that it'll be an original story because if

the movie is about End of the World, it might not do so well since it's only about Hayate and Athena as kids. It doesn't feature most of the other characters besides the small cameos.
