i'm deciding on whether I should buy a Konata key chain and not have enough money for the following box sets: Serial Experiments Lain and Paranoia Agent. Or I can pass on the keychain but still have the TOUGH decision on getting either SELain or Paranoia Agent.

I bought manga before this so i'm kinda short on money

P.S. I really want that keychain

I wonder if understanding it adds to the awesome.

Cuz I'm pretty sure me and junglefever had absolutely no ****en clue what was going on.

And we loved every moment of it :laugh:

I have a friend that knows how to play prior to watching Saki, and he says that knowing it would let you enjoy it even more. Otherwise, there are moments when the characters become all surprised and laugh, and you just awkwardly laugh along without actually getting what's going on...

I haven't seen Saki, and I don't know that much about Mahjong. I remember reading up on it before (Mahjong, not Saki), but I wasn't all that interested in learning it. I'm guessing they don't thoroughly teach you about mahjong in the anime? Or is the anime mainly for fan service?

On a side note, Stab, your avatar scares me.

Ugh... I still need to get caught up with Negima. I'm still at the festival part. Since it's my Spring Break, I should get right on that tomorrow.

My friend keeps trying to get me to learn the Japanese version of mahjong so that he can have someone in real life to play with...

PS: I forgot to mention this previously, but...

I am

i love it hahah

this weeks k-on was ****ing hilarious btw
So many funny things. Mio with a ponytail was amazing and Yui's "Liars, there's no cake" was so cute and funny at the same time. Clearly she knows the cake is a lie. Ritsu was actually really funny for once too.

My laptop battery's dead because my charger broke, so I'm using my Dad's laptop for now or even my PS3 for web browsing.
I'm going to have to go out and buy another charger. There goes my Toradora and Persona money. :(

Also, Vanishment/Disappearance is going to be shown at the Viz theaters on May 21st and on June in Hawaii.
San Francisco is too far... Same goes for Hawaii which is even further...

Well, I still haven't seen the camrip yet. I'm still holding out just in case if it does get a showing in SoCal or something.

Since someone mentioned Eva recently, has anyone seen Rebuild of Eva 2.0? I saw it in November at the Waterloo Festival for Animated Cinema.

Also, I decided to start watching K-On!! from the first episode since I don't remember much of what happened early on in the series.

Yeah. I thought Eva 2.0 was good but my friend found that some of the changes they made were too awkward for his liking.

As for K-On!!, I'm not liking the Yui centered parts. I <3s Mio and Ritsu.
