CY has a personality disorder where he cannot comprehend human emotions. Even though I've never met him in real life, he can "see" the love in my eyes, but in reality it is hate.

Bye CY.

I'm such a hardcore peach fan I even main her in 64, which is why I chose to not associate myself with an icon.

Okay guys. I'm going to my first ever local tournament.

But uh, I need some tips or advice. What should I expect? I'm not particularly social when it comes to an IRL ordeal. You have to be my friend or nothing will come out of my mouth. Should I be concerned I'll (possibly) be the youngest there (maybe not, fliers were posted in my school)? :S How do I keep from being nervous from shaking or embarrassed about how noob I will look?

Oh and HUGGGGEE question. Explain to me the stage striking system. The whole thing bewilders me.

All in all I hope to have fun. Wish me luck fellow Peachies. D;

The only reason I won't go is if my parents decide not to drive me to the venue which is only 5 minutes away.

If videos are posted I will let you know. Oh and I'm trying to practice but that isn't going well at all.

Try really hard to talk to people you don't know. I had that problem (I was 11 when I joined the scene) and I'm so glad I'm over it.

Striking=eliminating stages until you choose one to play on. If unity ruleset, you strike 2 stages, he strikes 3, then you choose the stage to play on.

How old are you?

That tournament will have a very casual atmosphere. Trust me, I went to one of Denti's... a month or two ago I believe. Even if you're a hardcore tournament goer, you won't find a SUPER serious atmosphere there with **** talk flying around like consonants and people getting into hardcore discussion about Brawl like what frame x move might/does hit on depending on what part of the animation it's at. Don't worry about it, no one's gonna mind if you're a little kid or quiet or whatever. Assuming you're basically new to the scene, you'll have more "simple" questions to answer than anything. Like Oh hey, sup, Who do you play? Where you from? etc

Above all, just go there and have fun. Just make sure you have money for tournaments you want to enter (should be fairly cheap) and have fun. You don't have to impress anybody with your social skills or gameplay lol (I don't mean that in a negative tone, I just mean no one's going to this looking to judge you or really look down on you)
