Anyone got any tips for beating Unlimited Hazama/Ragna?
I beat Hazama once with Arakune (cursed him quickly and just combo'd him to death with bugs and attacks), but he one best out of three.
I haven't really ever fought Unlimited Ragna, ever, but I'd say if you're using Arakune against him too, do the same thing, get the curse off and just try to get some good combos/mix ups into more combos.

With Hazama, he's a real pain in the *** to fight, mostly just space him and camp him to no tomorrow.

Tournament results from FFC5:

1. Selah (Tager, Jin)
2. Raziek (Hazama)
3. Gaudeo (Lambda)
4. Shrubber (Taokaka)
5. Lythium (Noel, Mu)
5. Adapt (Lambda)
7. Wiles (Hazama, Hakumen)
7. MetaK (Litchi, Arakune)
9. Capt. Collins (LOL DISQUALIFIED)

Not our biggest turnout, which is a shame. We didn't get a lot of our regulars, but it was still alright. I was pretty disappointed with how badly I played though. Ah, well. :I

I use Arakune and Hazama, I guess I'll just keep trying :(

I was about to say that you could just zone Unlimited Hazama and let him run into your clouds and stuff, then I remembered that Hazama is hard for Arakune to fight against because Hazama has the tools to maneuver around it (Ouroboros). I think your best bet would be to go Hazama vs Hazama or use another zoning character against him.

Yeah, he kept hitting me with ouroboros when I was trying to make clouds.
This is for arcade mode, so I can't go Hazama/Hazama.

I love fighting Unlimited Hazama and Ragna as Tager.
I Tager them so hard.

That, and their AI is oh-so-exploitable.
Tasty.

don't forget just throwing out jabs full screen against Jin to watch his AI freak out and constantly DP.
He's obviously trying to build meter.

...and failing because that's not how meter works in this game.

Valkenhayn doesn't fit with my style. He certainly is unique though.
I'll play people this weekend when I don't have to school and when I'm done with homework.

Werekill, you seriously can't afford $8?
Actually, yes.

I'm saving my money for several things (luckily not car repairs, lol), and to be honest, 8 dollars for a character that doesn't fit my playstyle is a bit too much.

Besides, a lot of the dlc is kinda overpriced. I mean come on, 5 bucks for a different announcer?

True.
It's why I haven't bought Makoto.
I honestly and truly don't have $8 to blow on a silly ol character who's just going to be available in the next game.

It's not that I can't afford $8, it's just that while I think they sell the cards at the Shoppers Drugmart in town, I'd rather not be seen buying them, and there's no EB or whatever around. Plus, I'm not sure where to get a Canadian compatible one online and I'm trying to save my Paypal for stuff a bit.

I foresee Arc releasing all the characters along with BBCSII in one bundle for an overall less price than if one had bought each character then CSII seperately, effectively delivering a middle finger to their fans and proving that they are like Examu.

I don't mind buying it because my friend shared his PSN account with me and let me DL all the stuff he had. So I'm getting BBCS DLC to return the favor, so he doesn't have to spend money on it.

Yeah, my friend bought Valk and let me bum him. (I was short a penny, no joke. I hate PSN sometimes.)

I really dig him, he's super different. He's got some Tao in him with the wolf form, and his normals look and feel sorta' Hazama-ish, especially not having the dash.

I dunno, I'm gonna' play around with him tonight.

After playing around with him more, his standing C combos into absolutely everything (including astral lollololololololo), on block you can do really nifty human to wolf pressure/mix ups that is absolutely silly, his combos are relatively short and really damaging, Wolf form is nifty, but I still don't really have the hang of it, though it is really awesome, standing C in general is an amazing poke, his super goes through projectiles, and he has a super awesome aerial super which has some neat combos into it, both his supers in general are super easy to combos into and do a ****load of damage, and look cool on top of that. At first he felt sluggish, but, upon playing him more, he's kinda' quick, and you can close distance INCREDIBLY easy with wolf form real quick. He does take a good chunk of damage, but that's all I have to complain about really. His range is just absolutely INCREDIBLE, and you can really get some silly wolf form combos going.

And his taunt is him saying his tea is ready.
