Are you for real? Ganon has little to no differences between the versions (weaker fair and 1% less on usmash in PAL, maybe some extra details) and is far from trash in PAL. Sheik might be THE most nerfed character.

I almost have to assume that you're trolling.
Well downair as well as been reduced by 1% and you can't even do downair to grab I don't think. Though perhaps his fair is more comboable lol. Idk I really would like to try one day.

Noobking? I don't think he's even top 40 lol. However Blunted Object or Diakonos might be another story.

i heard the only decent move ganon has in PAL is bair.

and thats cause its the only one that stayed the same.

that's why i figured the EU had no top ganons.

Nah son, Qlex usually places pretty good in france.
UK ganon Swizzy places pretty high in teams I think.
And dutch ganon Ace is up and coming.

Only things changed in PAL for ganon is a much weaker fair and dair does 1% less.
Meanwhile, marth is lighter and loses dair spike, sheik loses broken downthrow, fox is lighter and all his smashes are weaker, so those MU's become somewhat less up hill I would say.

ahahahahahahaha yeah right, pretty much no difference between pal and ntsc sheik =D

I assumed you guys weren't ******** and understood the point of my post but I guess i'll have to spell it out for you. In regards to the peach/sheik comment, I was using it in the context of European players coming over to the United States. The fact that sheiks grab is better in NTSC actually makes it easier for top sheik players(like amsah) in the transition from Euro to American tournaments lol, so you are basically arguing against yourselves if anything. Peach, I don't even have to touch down upon since she's pretty much the same.

I can speak from experience. Ive been to a european tournament and I know I would never travel there just for smash. Ganon is pretty bad in PAL actually. His fair nerfing is more significant than one would think and this forces one to adopt a bair heavy playstyle, which is always bad in excess.

Point is, you can ***** all you want, but Americans have no obligation to travel to Europe for smash. Yes,it sounds like a "typical" arrogant, American way of thinking; but sadly it is true.

Indeed nerfing ganon's fair screws him over.

As to nintendo: Because totally, ganon needed to be nerfed, right? so imba!

Isn't linguini pretty much saying that europe's two best players have come over to america using characters that are either exactly the same, or significantly better... and that despite that, they didn't win, and were significantly challenged (and even beaten) by some of our not top caliber players?

I mean, I might be missing something, fill me in.

i think he's also stating that american players have little to prove overseas, as america has a much larger amount of players of high caliber.

especially from a ganon main's perspective.

Regarding this...Peach in PAL > Peach in NTSC, despite the fact that the characters are identical. Why? Because she suddenly gets killed a lot earlier by Fox Upsmash, Marth has a Ken Combo that can't be MC'd, and so on.

Even if you know that YOUR character has changed in this or that way (or not at all), you still have to learn the changes of other characters (Fox has a longer Firefox, and it's most probably that due to this, Over failed an edgeguard against M2K on his last stock in the last game at Pound 4 that could have netted him a kill). Essentially, PAL and NTSC are two different games, one being a slight modification of the other. If you're good at one, you'll be good at the other one as well, but not necessarily better just because your character was buffed. In fact, you'll probably be only slightly worse (unless you play CF and suddenly get easy Gentlemen) due to how you're not used to the changes in your/your opponent's character.

/random post

Anyway, my point is: The best player in NTSC isn't necessarily the best in PAL. Armada and Amsah has proved themselves in NTSC, but the top Americans haven't proved themselves in PAL. We are therefore able to create a pretty accurate NTSC list, but absolutely not a PAL one if we want to include Americans. If we want maximum accuracy, top NTSC players need to play PAL tournaments with top PAL users.

Yeah, because sending a jigglypuff players to europe where, by your logic:

marth can't ken combo
fox has worse kills and a worse recovery
sheik has no autocombo from grab

will totally make a difference to hbox. I'm sure hbox will be SO bad at PAL.

I love european smash, but if anything, jiggs is better in PAL because of the same reasons you stated.

Summary: Hbox will have a downhill battle (so to speak) if he goes to EU. He is pretty much your top player now anyway, so until Armada manages to beat him, it doesn't really matter if it's PAL or NTSC.
American Fox-, Falco-, Marth- and Sheik-mains will all have an uphill battle. This is what matters.

Some dude called Mizar gave me a link to a Dutch Smash community. smash-bros.nl, to be precise. There are no upcoming Melee tournaments, as far as I've seen, and even if there were, it'd be a huge step, as I've never been at a real tournament with recognized players. :/ But I'll check it out.

Kage MM me so I can tickle your Ganon off the stage.

With my legs.

Canada's good players are like

LuigiLover62, Kage, Unknown522, IB, PKMvodka, RaynEX, Vwins, Diakonos, Blunted_Object10, Dieslow, and Sion.

Order is like really hard. I think EC Canada's top players are better than WC Canada's top players though.

LOL no offense BC; if you take offense to this we can crew battle :]

LuigiLover is inconsistent though because he's terrible

That would probably require me to give up Ganon and learn a new character.. which in turn requires a tremendous amount of time, at least for me.. this is the way I work, I have to grind for insane amounts of hours before I can understand what I do wrong.
didnt your falcon do better against shiz than your ganon???

How did HBox get so good at this game? Does anybody know that? I heard he was a King fanboy then he comes out of nowhere and wins pound 3. God that was terrible, sitting in that stupid basement. Now all M2k has to do is not get hit by any of jigg's grabs cause there all really good.

(Also) That was disrespectful, hbox. To mango to you to me. That was disrespectful.

I watch too many videos
