Lol i'm beyond who he missed, considering only 2 of those placings are right, there's 8 top level players we're missing here.
while im here might as well contribute;

Lambchops
DaShiz
SleepyK
Sion
Mango
WeonX
Javi
Hugs
Twin
Colbol

****
Out of Lambchops and Shiz, I'd say Shiz is better.

joe has a good attitude about smash

Also I think kage can become top 5.
He just needs to switch mains.

glys, have you ever looked at tournament results or even played any good players? Assuming you're not just trying to be a ****/troll, the best players are primarily decided upon consistent tournament placings. The fact that you didn't mention Armada/PP/Amsah/M2k in your top 10...

Eh **** it.
I have, but as hard is may seem to believe judging from the attention Europe's Armada gets, it's still pretty damn hard to find a few, let alone any active Smash communities around. Brawl gets its spin easier, but it's still not a walk in the park.

That would probably require me to give up Ganon and learn a new character.. which in turn requires a tremendous amount of time, at least for me.. this is the way I work, I have to grind for insane amounts of hours before I can understand what I do wrong.

And also I love Ganon too much to give it up. I think there is too much misconception about matchups because in reality you are not fighting the character, you are fighting the player along with the character's tools. If you know how to deal with the tools then it's all about guessing correctly and trying to outsmart the opponent. So loving Ganon for me = best potential.. if I would choose another main I would probably not do as good forever because I will not love playing another character as much. My goal is to do the impossible... Idc what anyone says that I will not be able to win.. I will win!!! I know what I have to do to break the limits with Ganon, I'm just not there yet. I'm still too predictable against the Top players.. I know I'm not that far.

I think I'm around Top 20-25.

Yeah that list wasn't real if you couldn't tell. More so my favorite players, with hugs thrown in just cause your use of hugs was random too :p

I think they're both amazing in their own ways, but shiz's playstyle pays off more in tournament play.

You always lose to the very best players though. You got closer to beating mango than a lot of other people did.

Maybe you need to not try so hard. Maybe if you relax and just loosen up during a match you'll be able to see your own habits more. I have no idea if you do this or not, but maybe you're too mentally tough and determined. You say you love playing ganon, and that's amazing. But do you have fun? These are just surface guesses though.

Yeah, if you just picked up fox... then, like what's the point? I totally understand what you mean. But maybe ganon just doesn't have good enough tools? You know his tools more than anyone, and wouldn't you say it seems impossible? There are just some people that I don't think any ganon player can beat. Especially when you play someone like marth, fox, or sheik who already has ganon experience from someone in their region.. I don't know if it's possible.

But again, you know his tools better than me, probably better than anyone in the world. Or at least canada.

"8. Calle W [He's doing decent in europe..always in Grand Finals against armada. until he comes here it's all speculation, everyone saw colbol like this before he came outside of florida.]"

bull****, he only entered swedish tournaments for like 3 years now, its not that hard to get into the GF there, the only decent thing he does is doing well against armada, but i am pretty sure thats just because they are playing that often against each other, he is not even close to him imo

kage and linguini are both working at it.

I'd put Zgetto on the same level as Amsah. No idea why he didn't get that far at pound, cuz in every european tournament he is a mad beast. A MAD BEAST.

I'm sure we can all agree that Hungrybox, Mew2King, Armada, and Dr. PeePee must be on the list.

I definitely love playing the game as well and that means I have a lot of fun of course.

And it's definitely possible to win, it's a matter of consistency.. I don't believe Ganon as a character is any harder to win than a top tier because I know how to use him. It's totally the player himself that makes the most difference, how wise your decisions are in a match? How much do you know your character for real? Can you break your own habits? etc. And so I believe I'm not there yet, I can make better decisions, be less predictable.. perhaps change my own playstyle during one match, that could make a huge difference and it's possible to do. The matchup chart is only a chart that says this character has this over this other character... you can overcome it.

idk who id use vs amsah. i dont like sheik dittos vs europeans they are better at them than US sheiks. Idk if id ever fight him in bracket either since idk when the next time i feel like entering will be
but if you had to, who would you feel most confident or would want to give a **** with against Amsah.

so with your logic mango/hbox/blablabla never proved theirselfs?
and european tournaments arent international? ok =D
Meh, I worded that badly.

I just feel that our 'top 50' in america is on a higher scale of overall skill compared to europe. Not saying all 50 of ours are better, definitely not saying that.

But with that said I feel coming to america where we have a larger quantity of professionals to deal with is more of a 'proving ground' rather than Europe. I don't mean that you can't prove yourself in Europe, I just think it's harder to prove yourself in America. Of course this sounds biased, and I apologize, but that is where the basis of my statement rooted from.

"he only entered swedish tournaments for like 3 years now, its not that hard to get into the GF there"

your best player lives here, and it's not hard to get to grand finals to play him..

well i got your point, just wanted to tease you =P
you are right that USA > EU, but still, i think its time that some of "your guys" come over and prove that they can play in europe aswell, just saying

and yeah, getting into GF in sweden is not hard for CW since there are (imo) only 2 people who could beat him (hack and ivp)

lol ya i agree completely about americans coming to you guys.

too bad i'm not..professional, or i could say i proved myself when i went to europe :p i got to play professor pro +his friends when i was in london, then i got to play rocky armada aniolas and a few other cool guys[pierre u ****] when i was in france :bee: fun times getting wrecked.

and @ druggedfox, eh, i don't think it works that way for everybody. For me when someone really good beats me, I feel almost relieved that my next opponent won't be half as good as 'm2k' in this situation.

Zgetto had a really hard bracket. Besides, he still place 17th which is amazing considering how many people went to Pound 4, but he's definitely world top 20 material.

And yea thats the reason why :p I didnt do that great at pound and he did very well :p

With me its more a If i play well xD but he always performs at a certain level ^^ :p thats why id put him higher then myself too.. even though i think we are on the same level hes just mainly mentally way better then me ;p

Thats why he always gets top 3... but when i play well its usually amsah and me fighting for the second place after armada xD but when i dont i get like 5th here and there or 17th xD Hes just way more consistent.
But i dont feel bad losing to jman and zhu at all.. they awesome^^

It doesn't exactly work like that man. The U.S. contains the better amount of TOP level players. In addition characters like ganon are absolute trash in PAL and the disadvantage is almost unbearable, not like sheik and peach who are largely the same in their respective games.

Sup to the homie zgetto

That's why lol.
internationals are proving grounds for NTSC
nojohns
True, but being the 'away' team does have a disadvantage.
Don't say it isn't because almost none of you ever played in a PAL tournament.

/johns?

This whole thread should actually be named: The Best Players (NTSC)
Which includes some europeans at the top. But in the list of PAL, there is no american to be found because no american has proven anything there.

Look at it this way. World championship ice-skating 1000m has a top 3.
At the 500m, according to your logic, it has the same top 3 because its the same sports.
BUT WAIT?! A DIFFERENT TOP 3??!? HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!
lol sorry for that, I'm kinda ****ty at explaining my thoughts but I think you'll get an idea of what I'm trying to say here.

Sure you can skate on ice in norway and you'll do pretty good, but its nowhere near the same as the ice they have in your home country. (YES THE ICE IS DIFFERENT LOL)

Man this comparison really shows the Frisian in me :(

Are you for real? Ganon has little to no differences between the versions (weaker fair and 1% less on usmash in PAL, maybe some extra details) and is far from trash in PAL. Sheik might be THE most nerfed character.

I almost have to assume that you're trolling.
