What about hungrybox you say? Doesn't his winning prove good character choice? Obviously not, because jigglypuff is simply random and gay, not truly skilled. You have to find the balance, and pick a character like peach or falco.

I dunno, something like that. Hbox deserves second, Like wobbles said you play to win, Hbox wins, pretty simple decision to put him high up. Mango would be higher if he actually tried at big tournaments, but he doesnt but still finishes at a decent place consistently.
Dr.PeePee is good, quite legit, but Im gunna say hasent proven to be 1/2 material. Still good though. M2k is M2K. and Calle W is ****.

i think the fact that you play ganondorf camouflages the lack of mindgames most. ganondorf has the highest damage output in the game so you just have to get one or two random hits to start off a combo that brings your opponent in killing range. whereas other characters need much more hits and openings and reads to make the opponent ready to finish off.

Lol, kage probably has more mindgames than any ganon. It's so much harder in general to capitalize on a read when playing ganon in comparison to faster, more agile characters, and yet he still manages to ****. Sure he lost to armada, but armada is by far the best peach out there and peach has a slight advantage in that matchup imo (admittedly, I used to think it was even). And trust me, kage was not playing his best then.

@Ace... yeah, I think most people agree that peach has the advantage in the matchup. The old idea was definitely ganon was usually even or had the advantage vs floaties, but this seems to be changing over time... oh how smash changes. I remember when everyone thought falco wasn't all that good, and fox had a 70/30 matchup with puff

im not saying that if you take peach your good. if you take a look at pink shinobis peach in the game against rockcrock you will notice that it takes more than just playing peach to be good.
peach is not the worst character but she has a lot of disadvantages compared to higher tiers.

that sounds like you need more self esteem! its all about the right mindset. go in with a mentality like "im worthy to lick armadas shoes" then you can also accomplish things. altough it will be hard because you play peach and peach is bad unless youre armada.

Ya I do think I will not be able to play any other character at the same level because I have an affinity with Ganon. Just like I have an affinity with Zangief in SF4.. as soon as I picked him I started doing much much better... and the level I improved increases dramatically. It makes sense yes. But I'm still pissed off I lose, I don't like to lose, especially vs the same people a lot. =P I don't care about what people think of my level, I just want to beat insanely strong players, I'm not that far off.

That's obviously a bunch of BS.. it's also easier to capitalize with better characters... If i make one mistake and then the opponent knows how to punish, Ganon gets punished ****ing hard. Why don't we see many other Ganons for example, hm? =P
