It's gonna be great to go back to the controller once Smash Wii U is released. I have absolutely zero game on the 3DS primarily because I don't want to break my 3DS. I want to sell it, but I need to save it for that free DLC.

I think the best part about the Wii U version of this game is just because of the controller.

These Little Macs though. They're getting on my nerves.
1. There are way too many of them.

His counter has limited range tho just like our normals
and this is why you do not play for glory

If people spam Counter just... charge up FSmash a little longer. I do that to a lot of For Glory Lucinas.

Little Mac is old and dumb. I'm sorry, but people overuse him too much. He's like the Landorus of Smash. Fricking overkill. =~=;

Don't interrupt his Smash attacks intentionally close up. That super armor will punish you greatly. His (a)> tilt hits twice, so if shielding, don't release until the second hit.

I'm no expert on advice, but there's my two cents.

Aura was the same mechanic in Brawl, but no one complained in Brawl. Kind of funny how it matters now when the game is slightly more balanced and there is no MK-tier character.

But it's funny to watch people throw hissy fits.

Not going to lie, I would prefer Brawl's Lucario (lingering hitboxes and range) back over Sm4sh Lucario (SuperAura), but Sm4sh Lucario is still a ton of fun.

Also, the salt is both hilarious on one hand and getting rather annoying on the other...

So much drama in my state lol. We are having a major and the hosts set the venue fee to $40 up from the usual $22 (2 days). They say its to cover additional 'expenses' they wont disclose in a new venue so I challenged them to publicly reveal their additional expenses and I will buy a HD stream card for the smash scene, otherwise I'm calling them out on pocketing the extra money. They refuse to do so...

Its going to absolutely ruin our first Wii U tournament for smash 4, I expect turnout to be halved. sigh.

So uh, turns out that shield grabbing while charging aurasphere REALLY messes people up, especially anyone with a counter/absorb. I just rocked a Lucina doing this and it felt great.

I live with my roommate/good friend/eternal smash rival, who will not shut up about Lucario's aura scaling whenever I use him, and will not listen when I try to explain that it's actually really friggin hard for Lucario to get those ludicrous-aura low% KOs everyone whines about. Granted he's been getting less obnoxious about it lately, now that he's finally starting to accept the fact that aura-scaling is really Lucario's only real great advantage, and finding those ways to deal with it. Still, I have to hear that bitter judgmental groan every single time I get a KO with Lucario.

also he was at the ledge on a light character and probably vectored poorly. I think other characters' bairs would have killed in that situation too.

While we're on the subject, would you rather a king brown bite in the middle of nowhere (takes anywhere between 6-12 hours to kill) where you have like no medical help for the duration of those 6 hours until they airlift you out or would you prefer the inland taipan bite that probably kills in minutes but you have direct access to medical help? Would you rather stumble across two mating eastern browns while walking down to the beach, or perhaps you'd prefer one big coiled common tiger snake on your way home one day.

For Little Mac counters, I think Charizard is great. Strong aerial smash and armored rock smash is very helpful

Does anyone want to skype to get better with lucario? possibly work around little mac?

A Gamecube controller and Gamecube Adapter is what REALLY rubs the salt in the wound. ROUGHLY.

The problem for me against Little Mac is that I SWEAR I can't punish him. It feels like every time I shieldgrab a dash attack or a smash attack, he has JUST enough lag to either sock me in the face, or dodge. Maybe fighting him on the ground more is a good idea. And when launching him in the air, repeatedly knock him in the air. If you feel like Little Mac will do a counter, then delay your attack.

Make Macs fear you near the ledge. If you space correctly... Every lunge they make could be one they die from.

Learn to Shield DI properly and you will do a lot better too.

Short charge aurasphere also has hilarious effects on Little Macs (or everyone in general) as its just never expected and a tiny aurasphere will bring any momentum they had to a full stop.
