Yeahhhh, I'm kind of growing to dislike For Glory. It would have been the perfect thing if it had simply used the old system of picking stages with this rather than Omega Forms.

Anyway, now that I've picked up on Little Mac a little more, I guess he's not so bad. Still uber powerful when he does land hits though, and running from the KO punch is no fun. Totally messes with my momentum, you know?

Seeing as how ive been lurking around and just reading rather than contributing, i figured i should come in and say hai.
I was a ranked cali pikachu back in brawl days of 2010, but this iteration im looking at putting all my effort into lucario since he was the one character I always wanted to be good with but just struggled to lol. So yea ill post more often in here now and maybe contribute some analyses/research/general stuffz. nice to meet you all

On another note, I don't know why I didn't realize it sooner but I faced @ Croi in Brawl Singles pools in Apex 2013. I remember that set so well to this day, my dream of getting to the bracket was just one match away ;-; Great set though, I still get a smile when thinking about me teching your waft under Battlefield at nearly 200% and proceeded to win the match with Lucario. The hype was real.

5/5 recommended. It's incredibly poseable and everything looks just as it should be. Dat aurasphere too.

What I really appreciated was Lucario's strengthened Aura demonstrated in his head. Overall, the detail on his head. The glowing red eyes, his appendages rising with the Aura flowing through his body. Very nice!

The one with the thin pillar is the E3 display the other is the mass production versions.

It should be the mass production one considering the Link on the Amiibo site is the one to the left.

My opinion on Lucario's amiibo is that it looks OK, it's definitely no where close to the D-Arts Lucario (which I would recommend as well), but it's not as bad as it could've been.

Thanks for answering. I'm not a big toy collector, so my interest is mostly academic, but I've got a free one coming with my pre-order of the game, so that's nice. I was kind of hoping, when I first heard of the amiibos, that you could play AS the character on the amiibo, rather than with them or against them (always controlled by the AI). That way, if you were playing on someone else's machine that, for example, didn't have all of the customs for your character unlocked, you could just bring your amiibo with your chosen customs pre-set, and use that while playing. But alas, it doesn't look like that's possible.

I'm not going to lie, I don't remember this at all. I remember fighting and beating two other Warios (one of them was Reflex [/humblebrag]) and Orion in WF. I've fought so few Lucarios in Brawl that I guess they just get swept into the ether for me.

Hyuck, seems like I was sorely mistaken. I couldn't find any pool results at first but I found some old coaching post from my friend that stated it was actually Jnig that I fought. Both of you main Wario, have 4 letter nicknames and are from Canada (which I assumed at least until now, I can't say for sure where he's actually from but probably not Canada lol), everything seemed to match. Sorry for that

I'd assume it is the production one, I don't dare to think about how bad it could possibly look if you were to downgrade even from that lawl. Oh well, I'll probably end up buying it anyways no matter how much I complain.

I don't think there were any prototypes for the later series amiibos. What is pictured is most likely the final product, albiet it won't be as "clean" when you are actually holding one in your hand.

Patch 1.0.4 is gonna kill all the replays guys and rebalance and or nerf some characters (I swear to god if Aura gets nerfed...) this is gonna be interesting.

Why would they remove rage, which is a universal mechanic, from just Lucario? That would be like saying removing UpB from everyone that has more than two jumps.

Either all characters get rage, or no one does. They could nerf Aura, but I doubt that will happen.

Pretty sure that if aura gets nerfed to Brawl's, we're screwed since we have none of the range or lingering hitboxes that made Lucario work in Brawl...

That said if we get the hitboxes back I'd be all for that swap, but I seriously doubt that's going to happen

I would totally trade a small Aura nerf for Brawl's lingering hitboxes. I think most people don't realize how good lingering hotboxes are.
