Alabama was a state before North Carolina was, our ancestors went to build NC and blessed upon you our own state's theme "Stack It Up" NC loved it soo much that they took our slogan and worshiped. The guy in the gif on the front page is one of them. Let's face it, NC only wishes they were as good/cool as we are.

I asked this many many times because I wanted an update without complaints after I updated.

Now to respond to your concerns/questions

I'm ranked above you because of activity and points. No I did not add MLG Vestavia to the results. I thought of it to be more of a smashfest. Take a look at my first list based on assumptions.

Anyway the Bottom 5 is going to be pretty difficult because it begins to be done mostly by assumption. Not to mention theres a pretty noticable skill gap from the top 5 and to some degree the bottom 5. Our scarce in state tournaments isn't going to make this any easier either....

So bottom 5, I've pretty much confirmed in my list the 6th spot. But I've revamped the other places a bit. I believe we need to argue the following spots with the following players (others are free to give different input whenever)

6th.Zero_Gamer
7th.Slam,Ragnarok loser argues 8th with Serin and Cheap
8th Serin,Cheap (loser from 7th) Losers argue 9th
9th ^
10th is argued with the remainder and Janitor, Aloha, and Kola
(example of what I'd like to debate after all lists are put together)

once more. This is simply my list. Please make your own if you do not agree with mine.

After the lists are put together we'll final it up with adding points from results and oos wins against other state PRs.

*note* Ugh I haven't seen Slam play at all this season either. My views of him are pretty much biased assumptions from last season.

Terribly difficult choice to make. I narrowed it down to Myself, Cheap, and Janitor. If we were going by activity, I had the advantage. If we were going by improvement and whom could give the remainder of the PR a difficult time, Janitor would have the advantage but is by far the most inactive for the PR list. Yet Cheap consistently beat Janitor last season. However! In the only set they've played this season Janitor emerged victorious. Yet, Janitor later ending up losing to Aloha. A player the remainder of the Vestavia crew has beaten. Cheap also beats me slightly more than I beat him.

plus it's just rude for me to rank myself higher than people I know I'm not better than. ;P
Alas making a solid PR will probably not be an option due to the scattered and lacking tournaments. Top 5 seems like the most viable option. Alas I'd like to recognize those whom tried hard this season.

The AL pr is almost becoming nonsense. I think we should narrow it down to top 8.

Kola, despite your nooby not attending tournaments attitude, you are still better than the bottom 6 you listed.Also, your rankings and reasons are terrible. I do feel that Zhero_Gamer deserves higher than 10th this time around though.

And I definitely dont want to be ranked, though I probably wouldnt be anyways. Contrary what Kola has said, I've traveled oos more than 75% of the alabama players this season.

xP okay so maybe my reasons were scrubby. But I'm pretty sure that I can't beat Janitor, Zero, and metaknight's that know what they're doing. This season I've gone 0-3 with Metaknights. The players are just picking up faster on the metaknight meta-game faster than I am learning my character.
I'm all for making it top 8 too, but I'm leaning more to top 5.

More input would help to the deciding factor. <.<;; and if you know anything to make it with less non sense let us know. I'd like to get these things fixed for once.[/

I would just do top 5 with a points-based system so we don't have to go through the drama of a panel. I wouldn't do the points based strictly on placing either because people get stupid easy brackets or byes in tournament a lot.

I just don't think it's fair to give someone a spot based on speculation that they are still better than the other people vying for this list. I think it's only fair that they have to come to tournament and prove it like the rest of us.
Another reasoning for my updated list
We can't have someone on the PR whose spot is untouchable because they won't come and play. I have to say though, more tournaments would really help to separate the seriously inactive from the people that have only missed a couple of tournaments.

Here is another issue. GA/NC the other active states in the Atl South's PRs though tourney based, are influenced more on panel opinions on the individually ranked. It appears as if Florida does theres from PR wins/losses. They also have more tournaments, making their data more accurate.

I'll discuss this top 10 with Reflex, Billy, Elev8.

Really I wanted more of a discussion for this. This was a list 4 out of 5 Panelists agreed on, so if you're willing to give us a reason on why you should be ranked higher I'd like the input...now.

nah but i know im not THAT active, and i missed some key tourneys like both ausoms but i did go to seige, gamebox, and mlg vestavia. and defeated some PR'd people at each of those. but i havent really proven myself yet.

"better" is hard to determine.
I often feel like i'm "better" than some ppl on this list, but like for example
like cheap can beat kola at times, but has yet to be me. but both cheap and kola can beat aloha, and i have yet to beat him <.<
and I think george generally beats all of us...but slam has taken a couple of sets from him. but then loses to like me or kola or somebody you know?

Actually GA has already planned on doing a top 8. Of course we planned on it before u released ur list because we dont have a solid 9 or 10 atm. Actually there isnt a big skill gap in GA at all. Kismet loses to Scatt all the time and Lounis has only recently been beating kismet (1 tourney, 2 sets). The rest is really close because everyone beats everyone.

I don't have a beef with you or anything man, we just happen to disagree a lot. I know the tournaments you've been to you have done well at, but I just think you need to go to more if you want to be on the PR. I've just always had the mindset that speculation about skill of inactive players is completely pointless because tournament results are the most reliable way to gauge skill. So, I agree with the points-based system because it is less speculative and subjective and more fair.
