Of all the characters I enjoy playing falco the most. Probably because the person I train with the most is a falco main. I can barely powershield effectively and the only Falco I ever lost to in a tourney was shiz in two really close matches. Its pretty character dependent on whether or not you have to be able to powershield well. For peach and marth it works really well. But its pretty useful for all. For me using the level properly has always been key. On most stages you can get to a campy falco by using platforms and using a careful approach. If they are overaggressive you can also use this to avoid their approach alltogether. FD is a stage where this doesnt really work but I am willing to sacrifice it for my ability to chain grab that shi t out of them with fox. You can avoid getting caught up in shine combos and such if you just play smart. The best way to avoid shl is prevention. Never let up on falco once you land an attack and be close enough to limit how the lasers effect you. Falco dies from small gusts of wind so if you pick your moments you should eventually develop an idea of how to play a good falco. But if you never really have a chance to practice against one it can be very frustrating.

I don't know what anyone else is talking about, but imo the only thing that looks even moderately disputable about this tier list is Sheik above Marth. I've probably just seen a lot more Marth players than Sheik players. No, I'm not pulling an "OMG KEN = MARTH HE BEATS SHEIKS IN DA FACE MARTH SHOULD BE ABOVE HER" either.

I don't see any good Sheiks having an easy match against any characters anymore, just because the technical skill and diversity of all of the other tournament-used characters (for lack of a better term) seems to make Sheik look predictable and blows them out of the water.

I don't go to tournaments, and I can see myself getting some kind of "go to a ****ing tournament and see Sheiks beating ***" flame at me, but whatever. I see a lot more Marth players dominating a match than Sheik players. Sheik players usually have to endure the other character's technical assault and play safe before looking for an opening. It doesn't seem like she qualifies to be above Marth imo.

Of course, I skipped 200-some pages to my reply, so I might be missing something important. My apologies if this is someone else's argument reposted into a slightly lengthier point.

Actually Sheik is pretty good. Sheik's dashgrab is insane... SPAM IT!

It grabs animals from outer space... in midair!

It grabs princesses so that YOU can take their virginity!

It grabs manly men wearing tight uniforms and not so manly men wearing tiaras!

And if they try to spotdodge, you breakdance these motha****az!!!

Dk needs to move up.

DK counters sheik, goes even with fox and falcon and loses only to falco and peach.

I wouldn't say that DK counters Sheik at all, its not a terrible match-up for him, but i certainly wouldn't look at DK as a sheik counter..

I don't even think he really goes even with fox and falcon..

Do you have any experience in these match-ups?

Sheik vs ICs isn't **** anymore, honestly. It's quite the managable matchup. Avoid FD and your fine. Consult Plank vs Blues, good example of a Sheik vs ICs match played right by the Sheik player.

lol matchup is actually pretty close if you take out FD. admittedly sheik has a ***** of a time there but once you give her some platforms to play with... *sigh* those poor parka-wearing trolls.

sheik has no counter.

the only reason IC's aint where ganon is now is cuz people like chu dat and other people like wobbles,etc play him so well
