SWEET! I had no idea that so many people downloaded the compilation! already 6 downloads today, 8 downoads for the photos!

I wont be adding any stage textures until there are more stage textures out there. So, please guys, work on these stage textures!

Edit: I made a thread about my compilation, in the Workshop so that we don't spam this thread too much.

That is correct. Since Phazonfair was manually hexed, and no one had so much as touched stages before, it's likely that someone *accidentally* hexed it incorrectly by making the files too big... therefore *accidentally* overwriting some of the lava data, making it invisible. (I know this happened to me with Spear Pillar; made the file too big so Palkia would appear out of nowhere without smoke.)

We definitely, definitely use the SD Loader file replacement codes. Those things are a godsend. A simple put into SD -> Load into Wii, and you can test your costumes. Don't appear right, you can easily modify, put into SD -> Load into Wii and retest. I know I'm loving that thing.
Of course, just as it's for "old times' sake", I like to make an occasional burn'd disc with all the texture hacks, just as so not to waste precious memory in the SD Card.

It's one of my favorite stages to play on but I hate the design. I was soooo looking forward to hacking it.

We are the fourth texture hacking team, and we have as much, or even more, textures than Stack Smash. We have over 500 000 views and are really popular. We update more than once a day, too.

Can somebody describe me what I have to do if I want to see the custom textures in the character select screen? Or a link to some a tutorial? I know that it works because I tried a custom pack before where u saw the custom textures in the select screen, but when I do my own compilation I only see the default textures in the select screen (I think it has something to do with a common5.pac data).

Dude, ESH has dwindled down to BigSharkZ. It's a one-man show! Impressive? Yes... for one person anyways. As a team, that really really blows. I love your textures BigShark, but if you're looking to join the "big section" anytime soon, you've got to include downloads WITH the update. (During the last week or two, nearly every other update has the word "tomorrow" in it, indicating when it will be available... and then it sometimes takes longer)

Another quick suggestion. Your banner could use some work. Start by making it the same width as the rest of your layout, eh?

It might be the triple columned image galleries you have going down the entire page that's screwing the width beyond the banner size... I didn't create your layout, so I wouldn't know.

When I open "step1_extract.bat" it closes itself after i press a key to continue.

Right click on it, and run it in compatibility mode (properties). If it truly is a Vista 64 issue, this will solve the issue.

I've downloaded a few textures from Stack Smash, and I've got them working fine, but the problem is the files from Stack Smash did not include .pac files so when I transform with certain characters they revert back to their old costume.

This is especially a problem with the shiny Pokemon Trainer.

Does anyone know where I can get the .pac files for PED Samus and ZSS, and the shiny Pokemon?

EDIT: I searched around a bit and found the program "lz77ex." Sorry for not looking around more before posting.

It's half in german so what it tells me is that he doesn't find "*.out" file, "002.pac" file and "*.tmp" file, the rest is in english.

It's confusing cause I'm pretty sure that I did the first steps correct.

Thanks for the screenshot. Yeah - that does look rather strange. My advice is to redownload ASH and try again. Then we can really determine whether it's a 64bit issue or not.

Anyone know where I can find a .pac or .pcs file of one of the original costume colors that came with the game (not the default ones, I have those).

I'm looking for the Dark Zelda .pac to be specific (the one that came with the game)

I'm working on a texture and I think that one might be easier to edit than the original, just because it's closer to what I have in mind. Can anyone help?
