It looks like a ton of fun, being able to double your speed. It's really just something to have fun with, not something to use seriously. Similar to that new flare gun.

In reality, its only a 35% speed boost, since your going slower 35% to begin with. Also, I may use that new scout pistol + sandman. Health will cancel out to 125.

From past experience, most sentries are placed around corners, so this shouldn't be a problem. Either that, or there's somewhere close that you can hide behind.

The scout is already 133% base speed. Depending on how the 35% speed reduction is calculated (additive or multiplicative) he'll potentially be reaching either ~173% or 196% base speed.

It should take the 133 speed as a number, not a %.

So, reducing it to about 90 and then doubling it to 180, I would presume.

I always thought it was kind of weird that the Bonk! Atomic Punch makes you invulnerable to damage because he's presumably going so fast, but he actually runs at the same speed. Why don't they have a drink that actually lets you run faster!

I'm away on vacation to the two new people who are interested in Highlander. Colaya, I know enough about so you can start Pyro in GwJumpman's place. Did you want to be moved to reserve (GwJumpman)? Eikelmann, joining the team is easy by simply letting me know what classes you play and that you're able to dedicate time and such. Right now we have all our starters at the moment, but of course anything could change between now and when the next season starts.

Word of warning, I believe team limits on UGC are 18-20? I'll have to doublecheck and such.

I'll share my thoughts on the new items later, in both competitive and pub opinions.

Didn't like Meet the Pyro that much. Felt like it was too anti-climatic for the last video and wasn't as great when compared with Meet the Medic.

I thought Meet the Pyro was alright. It's probably my least favorite of all the shorts but still I don't think anybody should consider it bad.

I was a little disappointed when I saw Meet the Pyro for the first time... After watching it a few more times though, it's starting to grow on me. I wouldn't say it's the best "Meet the" video, but I would definitely say it's in the top half.

That said, I can still see Valve doing Meet the... videos. I mean, there's still stuff they can do with the software that they have. For example, they could work on remakes of some of their earlier Meet the...'s that didn't have much of a story to them like Meet the Heavy or something. They could also do item videos like they did for Meet the Sandvich. That's something that's not so out there in the realm of imagination imo
