The Scorch Shot was what I was referring to(which apparently sucks pretty hard, lol). Everything else is a reskin. So no, I don't count the others as new weapons.

+10% damage buff to Flamethrower is nice, though, I guess.

How do you people have items.
And trading.

I havent gotten a single trade in in 4 hours. and my item server has been down 95% of this update time.

Valve taking after Diablo 3 and ****ing up so bad nothing works on launch when they KNEW it would get this busy. Now I get to go to bed salty and work 8 hours tomorrow, not getting back till four :|

So I opened 3 crates. 2 soldier hats and a strange Rainblower. Wonder how much they'll be when the spreadsheet updates.

Valve aren't going to go out and buy a buttload of new hardware for a 24 hour period. There's a reason the event's for a week.

being a Medic main, and I do agree with you on this, but he Quick-Fix still has it uses...

And I use this to keep my team alive while there two other medic on the field, but depend on the map and the situation. Other wise, I'll stick with my medi-gun.
nothing wrong with the Crusader's Crossbow.

I'm talking about the QuickFix from a competitive aspect. No buffs is brutal.

Of course it'll have uses on pubs. You can just fly around the map with a Demoman / Soldier while you airshot with the Crossbow.

Never anything wrong with the Crossbow, but I'd rather have reliable immediate damage output via standard needles. With the reload speed buff however it's definitely more usable.

I may never update in time. I'm at 57% and 14 KB/s. I'm doomed.

No, they just didn't get buffed. Losing +10% damage when you gain 10% base damage = 0 change.

for competitive play? yea I wouldn't use it in that type of game.

So I've got 3 strange Rainblowers. I was talking to a guy in a trade server and he said they will skyrocket as soon as crate 46 as well as the scorched keys go out of stock. He said to look at stuff from series 40 like the Machina, Fish, and Gunslinger and they were all like ~20 keys.

Is what he saying right? If so, keeping them all for now.

I got a cute parrot too.

In the Scorched Crate how common is a Rainblower? I'm getting a couple of keys tonight so I wanted to know exactly how uncommon it is if it's anything unlike the other strange weapons

It's one of two strange weapons in the crate, with 11 other hats/miscs so the rainblower is 1 of 13 potential items. But, strange weapons are generally much more likely to drop than a hat/misc, so the strange rainblower is probably somewhere between 10-20% likely to uncrate, as is the strange lollichop, with the remaining 11 hats/miscs spread evenly with the remaining 60-80%

And I'm guessing you can still get an unusual

I think the big difference is that #40 is kind of rare and right now everyone is drowning in scorched crates (I got 4, anyone want to buy? :p)

edit: on a fun sidenote $10 would net you about 25.55ref if you were to buy scorched keys
