[Highlander Team Update]

We have Ant (a friend of Bionic who I also know) joining us, and he will be starting on Soldier. Seeing as we did not have someone in the slot I figured Ant would be a solid addition to the team.

I will be leaving for vacation in less than a week, and will be back in a month, so expect some news regarding meeting together or something around then.

If you have not been invited to the team's Steam profile group, message me on Steam. I have everyone added so shouldn't be too much of a hassle.

Great for turtling engy though.

If you have good aim, I fail to see how it's horrible. Never having to reload is fantastic, and even then you have approximately 100,000 rounds of pistol ammo.

I use winemaker for my combat engine and its great. Added bonus! You can use it to spy check as well.

Technically, the Widowmaker is very useful for spychecking because you'll always receive metal from any Spies you hit. You just have to pay attention to your metal, since Spies are going to try and get close to you. (I'm assuming you're not ******** and firing the Widowmaker at Spies halfway across the map)

But if you've bad aim then yeah use the default Shotgun.

Does it work on cloaked/disguised spies, though?

I know that the ubersaw used to work like that, but I could have sworn they took away the effect on cloaked and/or disguised (can't remember) spies to make spy-checking more difficult for medics.

Hitting a cloaked Spy means a flicker, so that's a no brainer.

"Disguised Spies when shot will give metal, which makes the Widowmaker an excellent Spy checking weapon."

Considering it costs metal, so if you attack an ally it's wasted, there's a downside to using it, unlike the other one, where yo can wail away.

You see a fraction of what matches and practice will be like, except of course we will have our full roster, and have mics so we'll be communicating a lot. Comms and map knowledge are critical, so we'll be going over that sort of stuff prior to the season's start.

Learning more about when to air-detonate stickybombs, and overall placement of them.

I used to think the Demoman was such a wacky character but now that I've learned a bit of his intricasies, he's a cool guy.

When you play Highlander without a Demoman, you truly realize how much power the class holds.

Morino, you were set to "away" when we were pulling people in.

We'll always need subs. Just make sure they're relatively available and have mics, and they're more than welcome.

I meant, I know he's good, even since the beginning (stickies **** **** up, like fo' real) I knew that. I just meant that playing AS the Demoman felt kind of wacky but now that I've played him or a bit, he's not so wacky to play as anymore.

Apparently may have to do with MvM update or MtP update.

They are craftable, but all 7 don't craft together. They aren't hats or miscs.
