As though it weren't already obvious, I feel like it's time for me to take a step back from trying to fit so much into my schedule. So, I'm taking a bit of a step back. Just thought I'd tell you all here at once where it's relevant than explain to you all individually, lol. But yeah, It's too much for me now.
I want to be part of the community. I'm definitely not going anywhere. However, I'm done as far as moderating and hosting tournaments goes (outside of little ones at my house).
Smashboards and Smash itself, it's something I feel will always be a very important part of me. It's like that team sport or club activity. I feel like I owe quite a lot to it. It has provided me with friends, an identity.
It's provided me with the idea of improving myself, even for something as trivial as a video game might seem in the grand scheme of things. It's provided me with a string of events that I was able to put on my resume to get my current job working for the Government. It is also what bought my girlfriend and I together.
So, I owe it a lot, and I'll always be up for a game.
So yeah, that's about it
All is not doom and gloom though. The reason I have less time for smash is because I've taken up competitive Pokemon cards in the past year and am focusing a lot into it. Something about the game's competitive scene being run by business' and Nintendo itself and not me, literally the 'not me' part is what draws me to it.
It suits my Uni/Full Time work lifestyle. I'm also at a point where I'm producing videos every week and have just launched a website. Yeah.
So yeah. I still need to work things out, but hopefully I'll be at BAM. See you all next time either way
*Trolls may commence*
