Anyway, I do happen to agree with some part of the OP (which I think has long stopped being relevant). Specifically, I think it's ridiculous when someone says "I'm offended" (or a mod saying it for them) and then an infraction gets handed out.

For the record, I am deeply offended by any arguments that oppose my views.

Despite all of the silly "honesty is the best policy" kind of talk, nobody actually believes that crap. Nobody actually wants to hear the truth. That's pretty much the way the world works.

Yeah, it's funny to tell people when they're being morons, but it doesn't really accomplish anything, which is why the rules of the site discourage that. At best you make someone feel self-conscious until somebody steps in and tells them that they're not stupid at all (whether or not this is true), at worst you start a flame war, and that really doesn't accomplish anything.

This isn't really a SWF-exclusive thing, people in general don't like being called stupid. If you're really itching to piss someone off then get into a barfight or something, I don't know what to tell you. Sometimes you have to be polite to people even if you'd really rather deck them.

"Irregardless" is actually a fairly common word. Irregardless of that, it still has the same meaning as "regardless" and so there's no real reason to use it.

It's a blog. Have you guys even bothered reading ANY of the other blogs? >_> There as stupid and pointless as me wanting to rant and complain about the people that bother me on this site (of which there are a lot). Y'all take offense, but I could care less what any of you think about this blog. TBH, it was just so I could openly say '**** YOU' to the people I don't like without being infracted for specifically telling you. I mean, if you want, I'll openly point you out individually and say '**** you, go die' in VM, PM, posts, text message, email, tumblr post, FB status, or whatever; juss hit me up.

I'd report them, but it'd be pointless since I'm reporting cops to cops in hopes they look at me and give me a fair shake. Oh, I assure you that pandering to idiots is not at all how I want to act. It's a matter of "Life sucks sometimes, so you don't always get what you want."

When some entitled tool comes into the store I work in and tries to force me to come up with ideas for their child's silly project so they can drop $100 on fancy crap that they really don't even need, do I yell at them to do their own projects and explain that they're spoiling their children, that whenever I did projects in school, my parents never spent $100 just so I could have fancy model trees or something else useless?

No, I let them be stuck-up, lazy, privileged morons living in their little bubble. It's not worth *****ing them out, because it's not actually going to sink in, I just get to vent my anger at them for a moment and then they get the satisfaction of knowing that I got fired for telling them off.

Believe me, I will be the last person to support being a mindless drone and doing what's expected of you, but being vocal about your differences with other people generally isn't the way to go, except in rare occasions or if you've achieved a position such that it doesn't matter. Most of the time, I find dealing with people *****ing at me to be far more of a pain than just keeping things in my head.

If you want to keep going that way that's cool and it's your decision, I'm just saying that you can't run around yelling at people and then get butthurt when they don't like it.

I mean, personally, the people I always like best are the people who are completely blunt and honest and not afraid to say what everyone is thinking. Unfortunately, the rest of the world rarely likes that.

The only person really responsible for moderating User Blogs is Teran, I think. And he generally doesn't give a **** about feelings being hurt, unless it actually gets out of hand. You also said multiple times you don't care about people disagreeing with you and "I ain't even mad", so continuing to play the victim of severe message board oppression isn't exactly gonna fly here.

I'd just like to take the time to point out specifically what is taking place.

I made a post about how much I dislike the online community with specific amounts of dislike towards certain parties that remained nameless. Mind you, this is my personal blog; with that said I made no personal attacks to warrant any rude, or harassing posts.

And then, certain parties that might, if they choose to label themselves as such, fall into said categories, ranted on in blog decide to make personal jabs and have opinions (which they are entitle to).

AND THEN A SENATOR COMES ON AND ALSO MAKES A PERSONAL ATTACK ON MY CHARACTER?!

Were I a lesser man, I'd acknowledge that remark with a post full of insults and mean words, but nay, I simply report this harassing, rude post and only hope some justice may find its way into this dark, dreary blog.

Come now. I play the punishment game as indiscriminately as possible. While I can't really just start throwing out red candy in this part of the boards, it's somewhat inaccurate to claim that the staff is beyond consequence.

My point is, yelling at people can have consequences and the yelling isn't always worth taking the consequences.

I mean, I could write an entire post nitpicking every time you've made some spelling/grammar mistake and point out the irony in complaining about people being stupid while making said mistakes, but it's not worth the time it would take, because it's not going to accomplish anything.

Granted, that brings up the point of why I'm bothering posting in here at all. But then again, it's an easy way to procrastinate and I don't feel like doing work.

Okay, butthurt or not, you're still complaining that SmashBoards is bad because you're infracted when you flame people when they're being stupid.
