I was going for something a bit more different compared to what we usually consider. Especially in regards to the type of outfits. The fact they added DDD Sora is one reason I went with this.

cashregister9 cashregister9 where does Anniversary Lara originate from? If it’s Fortnite, I want to avoid this as much as much possible to keep our content solely confined to TR.

Ah ok. Well, considering that’s the “default” we are going with for representation due to a lack of high res Classic Lara outfit, I don’t see why we can include that. In that case…

We will continue to submit additional content for Lara but that being said, we will begin to add palettes.

Here is what I decided to do (on mobile currwntly and Smashboard’s mobile tables suck)

Thoughts on these alts and alternate colors? I feel restricting them to just four is a good medium that works well for her appearances as, for the most part, its some sort of shade of blue or brown for the top and brown or black for the bottom.

I feel this is the best representative for Lara’s alternate costumes. That being said, we will be submitting five alternate colors for her costumes plus one additional iconic costume that utilizes something besides her classic costume as this is used up by the polygonal costume.

Please submit the source with an image that the recolor is based on, the color slot it takes up, and anything else that needs to be mentioned.

Just so we can have people submit, please submit no more than 2.

Considering we have very few submissions, I will keep them open but I do want to progress to our next submission round which is...

Tomb Raider Stages

I don't really know much of Tomb Raider and sort of locations could possibly be included. That being said, I have heard some ideas elsewhere that general tombs could be a possible idea. Like a Minecraft World sort of idea. That being said, we will be jumping into stage submissions. When submitting a stage, please indicate the following:

  • Name of location
  • Game it appears in
  • Appearance and layout
  • Stage Gimmicks and/or Hazards
  • Cameos
  • Omega/Battlefield Forms

This is a bit of an oddball idea with absolutely no roots in canon, but perhaps the stage could be a tomb below Croft Manor? So a big stage like TGCO or New Pork where the top half is inside Croft Manor and the bottom half is a tomb. That would be a way to represent both the "billionare" and "explorer" elements of Lara - and even if we don't do my composite idea, a big stage would be perfect for an explorer character.

Stage submission:
Croft Manor (Tomb Raider)
1653484826253.png

(Appearance based on Survivor Timeline)
Croft Manor is a stately home of Croft Family that appears in Tomb Raider games and it serves as Lara's home/residence throughout the games. It has different appearances depending on the timelines of the franchise. It locates in Surrey, England and the address is 142, Abbingdon Road, Guildford, Surrey, England.

The layout:
The layout of the stage would be shown on this picture below:
1653485492313.png

(It's based on Tomb Raider Legend)
The layout of the stage would take place inside the Manor like on this picture. It would be flat stage with short walls alongside balconies on each side of the map. The chandelier is a soft platform that can fall off sometimes if you stand there enough or use down attacks (Tilts, Smashes or Aerials) and when it drops on the character, it get 22% damage alongside stun effect (Also after while, it reappears on the ceiling). There are also 2 pieces of furniture that serve as additional platforms on ground, but they can be breakable by attacks or items.
1653486035864.png
Black: Solid Platforms
Yellow: Soft Platform
Brown: Breakable Platform

There are no hazards here except the falling chandelier that can give characters a stun effect.

The cameos:
The characters that are on this list of cameos are:
  • Richard Croft
  • Conrad Roth
  • Alex Weiss
  • Jonah Maiava
  • Angus Grimaldi
  • Father Mathias
  • Scavenger
  • Dr. James Whitman
  • Samatha Nisjimura
  • Joslin Reyes

They appear in background and they spectate the fight. Occasionally, you could see some artifacts in background scattered on ground or furniture.

Omega and Battlefield forms:
The layout of FD and Battlefield forms is the same like on FD and Battlefield, but it has Croft Manor themed-textures.
It takes place outside the manor and the Manor from exterior looks like the facade of Manor, but without fire and rubble (Something akin to Survivor timeline, which is shown on the picture at the top of the post):
1653487012280.png
However, it doesn't include any cameos, but still we could see the precious-looking facade of Croft Manor.

Did you make that layout? Really neat!

Lost Valley

One of the most iconic levels in the entire series, the Lost Valley is located in Peru and is an ancient jungle. The stage takes place on a bridge located above the jungle at the start of the match, similar to the one in Wuhu Island but without the holes in the bridge, and you can see a temple in the background. After about thirty seconds, the bridge falls apart and the fighters will fall into the jungle itself, which includes mostly flat ground, but a few trees that you can stand on. The ground also seems to be cracked. You can see velociraptors in the background, and after about 45 seconds, a T. Rex will appear in the background, notice the fighters, and then move towards the foreground, attempting to bite them - which breaks the floor, and the fighters once again fall into the Tomb of Qualopec, a symmetrical stage with a main platform in the center with walls leading into the blast zone, and a stationary aerial platform on both sides. The mummy of Qualopec himself will emerge from the sarcophagus in the background after 25 seconds and begin to destroy the Tomb, though it's only a visual effect, with the fighters being teleported back to the bridge right as the debris finishes falling.

The Omega and Battlefield forms are set in the jungle itself, with the platforms being made of the bridge's planks.

Gonna have a go at my own idea - I'm not too familiar with this series but we'll see how it goes.

Croft Manor Catacombs
12D0822A-EA93-4257-A9D3-E10F4652F4CF.jpeg

Black - hard platform
Blue - destructible platform
Red - soft platform
Yellow - movement

You start off in Croft Manor. The left and right sides of the stage are stairs; the blue platform is a chandelier; and the red platforms are a floor upwards. Being stood on gives the chandielier a bit of damage, as does being attacked. Once the chandelier is destroyed, it crashes down and creates a tunnel where it lands. The stage begins to scroll downwards and eventually reaches the tomb below
EC142B3A-B266-4A67-BAF6-E0CE35F1C442.jpeg

Green - the size of Croft Manor for comparison, also where the hole will be located.
Orange - spike traps
Purple - trap doors
Grey - damaging lava

The spike traps are generally static, but when foes are detected beneath or between them they will slowly crash down, KOing instantly. The purple trap doors are similar - if more than 2 players are near one at a time they'll collapse, turning into a wall. The lava functions the same as TGCO danger zones, KOing instantly at high damage

Slowly, one by one, geysers of lava will come out from below and destroy portions of the stage, making there less space to move, more ways to ringout, and less hazards. The last part remaining will always be the crystal upside down triangle rock at the top, which will then fly back up to Croft Manor, which (not counting for Stage Morph) remains in its default state for the rest of the match with an undestructible chandilier

There is only one cameo: Winston Jeeves, once the fighters have escaped the tomb and returned to Croft Manor, he will be waiting for them.

The Omega form takes place in the manor, but the Battlefield form takes place in the tomb

Stowaways

Players started on the hangar door which slowly opens which causes various trucks and vehicles to fall out. Eventually, the airplane catches on fire. Ridley in megaform will appear and assault the airplane carrier which may lead to potential injuries. If Ridley is in play, Mega Salamence appears.

I find this:
We can go wuth that. I added one in the front page that’s based on the battle theme but I always prefer these type where’s the actual song

That being said, hearing “aha!” As a victory theme would be amazing.

We will be conducting three jobs this time around!

Job #1: Submit a Smash Dungeon with a list of five enemies that appears in this Tomb Raider Dungeon
This dungeon should be based on a location from the Tomb Raider series and real world locations are allowed. Please try to include five enemies that will appear from Tomb Raider so that we don't have to go searching for them.

Job #2: Submit what Our Masterpiece should focus on

It's obvious that if we are to include a Masterpiece, the best possible (and realistic option) is the very first game. So, based on that, what portion of the game should the Masterpiece focus on? Please include the time frame for the masterpiece.

#3: How many songs should we include?

From no one, I will be coming to the thread to see how many Spirits, Music, and Mii Costumes we should include per DLC with our Mii Costumes being ones you feel would best fit. That being said, I will provide a few limitations JUST so we don't get submissions like 1,000 tracks and 99 spirits and 50 costumes

We can include anywhere between 10 - 30 songs. How many should we include?

Just curious, how many tracks did the other DLC fighters receive? In fact is there a list of music tracks in general, if the google doc isn't used anymore and I can't seem to find anything on the wiki (not updated for the most recent fighters it seems)?

Front page under DLC. As for music tracks, it’s under Music on the front page if I recall.
