Tournament Prize: 16 copies of Fire Emblem: Three Houses
x 16
this adds up to 960 usd.

Just kidding. Nintendo would never give out such an expensive prize, let alone one of their own games.

Job 150: Socks
Socks branded with the Smash Infinite logo. Useful, but kind of in line with what Nintendo would give out instead.

Thank you everyone for the amazing submissions!

Here are out possible prizes!

Replica Game & Watch Zelda
Job 150:
Custom Smash Infinite Statue + Figurines:

An intricately detailed statue of Big Battlefield, measuring 2 feet high, 4 feet wide, and 3 feet long. It also comes with 1/16-scale figurines of all fighters available in the World Tour, which can be placed anywhere on the stage, allowing the creativity to flow. They can be placed anywhere on the stage, as both the main and smaller platforms are lined with magnets to keep them in place.
Job #150:
Super Smash Bros. Infinite Trophy.

The well-detailed Trophy will be made out of the gold and the small model of Final Destination is placed on top of it. Also, it will be inside of real-life scaled Assist Trophy-like Jar.
On the Trophy, there is Emblem of Smash Logo appearing on middle of Trophy.
And also on bottom of Trophy it says:
"CONGRATULATION TO [NAME]!
The winner of Smash Infinite World Tournament.
A handpainted portrait of the winner with the character they won the tourney with, handrawn by professional artists and kept in a embroidered frame with the smash logo
Job 150

A Golden Cartridge and Game Case for Infinite, that would be framed
Job 150:

A poster of all the characters in Smash Infinite, similar to Smash Ultimate's mural.
Tournament Prize: Golden Amiibo

Like the Golden Splatoon prize amiibo, the winner will get a golden version of any currently available smash amiibo of their choosing.

I'm sure amiibo fans everywhere will appreciate another unattainable figure :4pacman:
Tournament Prize: 16 copies of Fire Emblem: Three Houses
x 16
this adds up to 960 usd.

Just kidding. Nintendo would never give out such an expensive prize, let alone one of their own games.

Job #151: Wishing Stars Level 2 plus SmashSpace

The player has booted up Wishing Stars and chosen their starting character to take on their journey. Having been summoned to the metaverse realm, the player found themselves in Dairantoushi, a metropolis that serves as the hub world and something called a SmashSpace which we will explain later. We will be adding a second level that will be accessible after liberating and freeing Dairantoushi from its seedy criminal underbelly.

“Having defeated the Devil, Tokai has come to celebrate the liberation of the city and extends an invitation for both you and Dusty (the guide). He gives you keys to your own #SmashSpace which is located in the New Inn Sector. Your player retires to the #SmashSpace and ready to start your day anew.

You are jolted awake by red crimson energy that overwhelms both your character and Duster. Black and Red tendrils pulls your character (first person view) into this portal. Yanked through, you come face to face with Jenna Anderson of Astral Chain.

“Yes…you will do quite nicely. I will have your wish shards…by force is need be.”

The player slips into unconsciousness and finds themselves within the world of Astral Chain. However, to Duster’s dismay, Jena stole all of their wishing shard pieces. Duster states that prime objective is to retrieve the wishing shards and return back to Dairantoushi. Just as you are about to head out…you come face to face with someone…”

Wow…that’s a lot! So what will we be submitting? Below are three sections based on content that needs to be submitted for this job:

1) What does the Astral Chain hub world look like? When submitting content, please refer to Golisopower’s description and format for Dairantoushi. What they did was split the hub world into sections for players to explore and battle through. When providing a submission, please submit a single area for the player to play through. Please pay attention to what people submit so we don’t have double submissions of the same area.

What to submit:
Name of area in Astral Chain
What does it look like?
What crossover enemies would it have (please consult the front page on what enemies Wishing Stars and Smash

2) What fighter on the roster will players come across! For the same of crossover shenanigans, it can’t be Officer Howard. This character will be after your shards despite not having any. Defeating this opponent will allow them to be recruited to your team but only if you fulfill a Wish Quest! This is an activity that is molded around the character where the player must fulfill a requirement needed to recruit the player to their team. Failing to do so may result in losing the ability to recruit them. This will impact the game later. The more quests you complete, the stronger you are at the end.

What to submit?
Character
What’s their Wish Quest
For an idea of a Wish Quest, one such idea would be for Yoshi which is eat 100 food and report their flavor to him. Or for Little Mac, create a Wishing Star that levels up your strength by 4x temporarily. Don’t use that Wishing Star and, instead, bring it back to him.

3) Going back to Dairantoushi, we will begin building up our own “home”, SmashSpace! This is a lofty loft in the residential side of Dairantoushi where you can decorate, display, and arrange any collectables upu collected in both Wishing Stars, Classic Mode, Smash Dungeon, or really any other mode! This can be accessed on the main menu screen after booting the game up but only until you finish the first level of Wishing Stars. This is also an online area where visitors, in the form of character sprite, can come and visit.

The view is top down in an art style that’s similar to both Super Mario RPG, 64-era Harvest Moon, and Link’s Awakening Remake. Players can add furniture, items, trophies, collectables, and more as well as floor and wall coverings. Some potential ideas could be a Msuhroom Couch, Master Sword Pedestal, Chozo Statue, Flower Lamp, Treehouse Flooring, and Shadow Moses Wallpaper.

What content can be submitted? Anything that can be placed within a medium sized space that is derived from a series that’s repped by a fighter or a stage.

What do you need to include for submissions?
  • Name of the Item
  • Series
  • Size
    • too big of items takes up too. 1 is small, and 5 is the largest. Doesn’t apply to floor and wall coverings
  • What function does it have?
    • If you have an item that you aren’t sure fits in what we are looking for, please ask.

I’ll remove the hashtag portion (wanted to keep it as it will tie in with Twitter) but SmashSpace will stay.

Could you elaborate on what you mean with an items "Function"?
Can you sit on it?Does touching it cause an action? Does it provide a sound?

Job 151: Wishing Stars

Part 1

I think cash's post did this pretty well, Harmony Square is the most visited area after Neuron HQ and the Astral Plane, and it's the perfect place for a hub world. If I may add on:

A major part of Harmony Square is the crosswalk, which has a more futuristic feel to match the environment of Astral Chain. It will block itself off via holograms as traffic rushes by and when it's safe, the player can cross. However, if the player spends too much time in the crosswalk and the lights change, they can be hit by traffic...

Part 2

The futuristic aspect of Harmony Square is a lot to take in, which is why my choice for the Wish Quest character is none other than Simon Belmont.

Lost in the bustling cities, Simon is having quite some trouble finding out what is going on. Luckily, he has his objective to follow.

Wish Quest: Obtain 20 (number tentative) Black Wish Shards from defeating enemies in Harmony Square and give them to Simon.

Part 3

Djinn (Golden Sun)

You can collect the actual Djinn! They come in four flavors. Clockwise from top left: Venus (Earth), Mars (Fire), Jupiter (Wind), Mercury (Water).

Each one is size 1, and there are 4 to collect. Interacting with one will cause it to move and give off a burst of energy depending on what element it is aligned to.

Changing my submission, if anyone wants to take the Djinn go for it

Legatus Terminal (Astral Chain)

The Legatus Terminal is used to clean the Legion and changing its colors. A Legionis can insert their Legatus unit (the thing that has all their Legion data and stuff) to project their Legion onto the circle looking thing next to it and work on their Legions.

This thing is pretty big, being a size 3-4 with two units: the Terminal itself and the display thing next to it. The player can only interact with the Terminal (the ATM looking thing) and doing so will show a holographic version of the player on the display next to it. Assuming that the player is represented via fighter, if the player is currently using Officer Howard, one of the 5 Legions will have a chance of showing instead. This can be used for all sorts of applications, including a mock kiosk, a Legatus Terminal, or a medbay scanner for the funny amogus hahas!

Job 151-1:
1629526374894.png

Zone 09:
A quarantine zone cut off from the rest of the ARK, Zone 09 has become a slum area ran by the Hermits, a group of hackers who serve as a minor antagonistic force in the game. Up above, you'll see a photo that represents one portion of the whole sector. Here you'll find more Shell Chimeras, as well as Hunters, Ganados, Primids, Zebesian Space Pirates, and Fuzzies.

As you're exploring, you arrive near the Hermits' hideout and are surprised to see none other than Solid Snake, who is attempting to sneak inside to gather information from their databanks, but can't due to their steady supply of Blue Evolve and their higher-than-usual security. He needs you to take out some guards so that the chances of him getting caught are, at the very least, marginally reduced.

Wish Quest: Kill 15 opponents with throws, then report back to Snake.

Job 151-2:
1629526864421.png

Flower Pot:
In Plants Vs. Zombies, Flower Pots are used either as additional stall time in some levels and as a means of expanding your territory in the Roof levels. In SmashSpace, these little guys come in Size 1, and you can even select a Plant to place into its soil, just like in the Zen Garden! The plants you can use include but aren't limited to:
  • Peashooter
  • Sunflower
  • Potato Mine
  • Chomper
  • Kernel-pult
  • Bonk Choy
  • Bloomerang
  • Escape Root
  • Magnifying Grass
  • Starfruit
  • Cob Cannon
  • Doomshroom
  • Iceberg Lettuce
  • Endurian
  • Sunshroom
For the sake of simplicity, we'll say that all plants that we've submitted, whether they make it into Crazy Dave's set or not, you can put in a Flower Pot!

Oh okay.

And Wishing Stars is like Subspace?
SmashSpace is an unique feature where players can keep and display Spirits, Wishing Stars (temporary buffs), and other collectables which includes various furniture, decorations, etc. for your own personal space. It was something I’ve wanted to explore for some time but Dairantoushi, the hub world, seems like the perfect fit.

Wishing Stars is our adventure mode where player’s pick a character for them to start off with. Once they do, they are invited to a metaverse tournament of sorts with the goal of getting your wish granted.

I wanted to throw mine in quickly…

1) Astral Plane
Considering this is the main stage of Astral Chain, I felt it was fitting for it to also be the main section players visited; especially as it ties with Jena Anderson. While it might be a bit boring to get the same location both as a stage as well as in the adventure mode but at least it’s constant.

Some enemies that could appear are:
Bytan
Armight
Greaper
Boo
Zubat
The Cell
Shell Chimeras
Mettaur
Buzzbomb
Creeper

2) Samus
Wish Quest: Collect the Gunship decoration (Gunship can be obtained by defeating fifty Wishing Stars enemies using a projectile; move or item)

3) Gunship Ganondorf’s Organ
The Legend of Zelda
Tapping it causes the organ to play Ganon’s theme.

Job #152: Update Mishima Dojo

Like some of the other stages, we are updating Mishima Dojo with some new cameos to join in on the fun. We have yet to actually add in Heihachi so here's the dealio: anyone we add in, including Heihachi, will be barred from future submissions. This means that even if we have a Tekken rep to add in later, the voted characters will not be eligible. We are shooting for four of them to include.

When submitting, please include the image, name, and why the character should be included as well as perhaps some backstory.

Job 152: Kazumi Mishima
While not exactly conforming to the timeline that is implied with old man Heihachi, Kazumi Mishima will make an appearance in her human form. She is the matriarch of the Mishima family and the mother of funny Kazuya. Naturally, she should appear alongside her husband as the dojo is where the two of them met. There is also an engraving in the floorboards that has both their names on it.

I realized I forgot to announce the results of the PvZ hats last night.

We actually had only four participants in voting so that is why the votes are this way. Peashooter and Doomshroom Hats will be joining the Mii Costume roster!

Jin Kazama:
Kazuya's son, Jin Kazama, is basically on the lower end of evil in the Mishima bloodline and even then, he started World War 3 to kill his pops and grampy. He would appear in his Tekken Tag Tournament 2 appearance alongside Heihachi, momentarily shooting a glare at his grandpa Heihachi as he watches the fight go on.

Job 152: Nia (Pokken Tournament)
1629598861094.png

We have Pokemon in this game, we have Tekken in this game, why not refrence the official crossover? Nia would be a very rare cameo, and would come out of a hoopa ring at the start of the match (that's the go-to for dimensional anomalies). She would have her default attire and would be much quieter than she is in Pokken, but would still cheer for the fighters (with a preference fore Pokemon series characters)

What better way to join Heihachi in the Dojo than Kuma!

Kuma is Heihachi’s pet bear who is also his sparring partner, friend, and protector. Kuma would be an excellent choice to add into Mishima Dojo due to his important of the series as well as importance to the Mishima family as a whole. When someone scores a KO, Kuma pulls out a balancing ball and rolls around on it while standing.

The Leadership deducted that Nia is far too removed from Tekken to warrant an inclusion in Mishima Dojo. You are free to submit a new Tekken-based character.
