It's preferred that an official answers the question, because it is likely they will know the answer.

Edit: Well, it's probably best that it sticks with Mod and IBWC. Because Mic made a warning prior to this.

The reason why people can't hard delete is probably because mods will need proof if someone is getting harassed or flamed. With hard deleting, people could just send whatever they want and then delete it.

Actually, you can only delete messages you receive, so allowing people to hard-delete would not make it possible to send harassment and delete it before staff sees it.

Not really, I could easily see people deleting the VM then reporting that they're being harassed, having nothing to back it up. Alternatively, people could post stuff on their own profile (porn, flaming others, ect) then delete it before a mod can do anything.

Discussion Leaders are the equivalent of a local member of parliament. They keep an eye out in the rooms they frequent and are tasked with bringing any issues to Virg (The Discussion Leader leader) any improvements they can think of and so forth.

BB code can't be used in custom titles at all.

There is one thing you can do if you have Firefox; download this: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1347/

It lets you save text from your clipboard that you can just paste by right clicking. In this case, you can save your [color][/color] tags and just add them to the text box before composing your post.

There's a specific rule against it in the actual Light House, and I feel like it'd be a cool thing to have. Like the SSB4 thread, except for games in general.

No. You can't post a VM until you have posted on the forum. It doesn't have to be in M&G necessarily. I'm not sure how many posts you have to make though.
