Mario VS. Track: Chaoctic Constructions

For this submission, I wanted it to somehow pay tribute to Mario as a character while not using any actual Mario content, and so this pays tribute to his first few apperances. Drive across narrow steel beams up a skyscraper constructin site, then fall into the Alligator-infested tunnels and sewers below.

Level 1 Factory

All of those grassy first levels have to come from somewhere, and this is the place. At first, it seems to be your run-of-the-mill grass-laden track. That is, until you "accidentally" drive through a wall and end up in the factory itself. The factory itself is basically a series of bridges and large-scale dioramas of subtly different grassy plain tracks held up by cranes. The rest of the course has you alternate driving though the dark and industrial factory and the sunny and natural grassy tracks before ending with you driving though a track that's still being built as workers rush to finish making it before you do.

A nice and breezy utopian city in the clouds, there's tons of racing theming. It's a relatively tricky course.

Catalytic Cavern

A collection of caves which shines pinkish-purple thanks to the many neon crystals and critters seen on the walls. Large tire tracks along with giant, empty oil barrels seem to suggest some kind of monster-esque automobile has taken refuge in these caves. It looks like the place used to be a mining facility but has long since stopped activity - you might see a discarded helmet or a pickaxe here or there.

Basically, this track is a big tour of the famous city from the Pokémon Red and Blue games. You pass by houses, PokèMarts, etc. It’s a bit like Mount Wario as you’re going through the whole city. However, for the last lap, you enter Giovanni’s gym and the race ends there. Pokémon and Pokèmon battles act as hazards throughout the stage when driving through wild grass and all.

The track ends with a celebration in a big city (where Mewtwo could show up if he doesn't end up being a racer).
