I mean, it's similar. But you can't really call it Chrom's outfit and a disconfirmation. A color swap could be a very close, but you'd be really grasping for straws to count out characters based on this. Who knows what we'll get.​

he didn't follow the design of awakening from chroms costume but from radiant dawn and how was i being rude i was only saying that wasn't chroms costume ike was wearing

I concede, if Ike appears in this new game similarly; I wasn't aware the super giant shoulder pad and revealed arm look was so popular in Radiant Dawn. I really should play some Fire Emblem.
Yet, from an objective standpoint, it still makes Chrom seem signifiantly less likely.
Obviously Sakurai went to great lengths just to make Marth and Ike look more differentiated. From what I understand, Fire Emblem is a vast game; it may deserve three reps, but the three blue haired swordsman argument really gets to me.

And this doesn't affect Chrom (who's basically confirmed), people. Fire Emblem's a 13 game series. It can get three characters, haha.

Oh come on. This might just kill the chances of an FE:Awakening rep unless Sakurai puts one more in. I'm only half happy about this.

Only way for that to happen now, cut Lucas and add in Chrom, FE is big enough for 3 reps, wasn't expecting May to get a character revealed, I just hope Ike's poor recovery is fixed this time around, he had the worst recovery in Brawl.

i don't think he would since 4 swordsman is enough in my opinion at least while i think another Fire emblem representative would be nice and for Chrom to be that rep and it would make since but i don't think we need to do something like a Ryu , Ken and Akuma example not to the say that they're the same thing or anything

That would be a great buff for Ike along with a better jump height as well (and change his running animation to be exactly like Marth's).

I look at this as we're going to have 3 FE reps. Ike wasn't cut likely due to his popularity and unique moveset. Still could get Chrom, though I prefer they mix it up and give us a non blue hair male swordsman from FE; magic weilding Robin, Basilio, Basilio, Robin...

Roy was a clone and that is why he was replaced by Ike. Ike was original thus is not cut. No trend. It was one transition. I don't see why it's so hard to believe. Nothing against Roy or Ike or any potential newcomers. I just find it ridiculous that a one off is looked at as a trend.
