Wow! Very unexpected update today. I like Ike, so I am happy he's back. I hope to see some improvements as well to be shown this month or next.

Regarding Chrom, he's not deconfirmed at all. I still think he may make it in given his popularity. Maybe he will be revealed at E3, and Ike was getting us ready for one last FE character.

I do wish Roy was back, though. He's great in Melee and Project M, I think. He's not deconfirmed either though, no one is with this update.

Um... the fact that he was given Chrom's costume as a primary costume, and that Sakurai directly referenced Ike will be taking this over because of such, means he is. I'm a guy who does not think Balloon Fighter, nor Ridley are confirmed. But Brittany and Chrom are.

First of all, never said that. I still expect Chrom.

Second, I put "pattern" in parentheses to emphasize it's stupidity. The "pattern" is getting rid of the previous "Flavor of the Month" FE character like what happened to Roy, but I never put faith into that theory.

I concede, if Ike appears in this new game similarly; I wasn't aware the super giant shoulder pad and revealed arm look was so popular in Radiant Dawn. I really should play some Fire Emblem.
Yet, from an objective standpoint, it still makes Chrom seem signifiantly less likely.
Obviously Sakurai went to great lengths just to make Marth and Ike look more differentiated. From what I understand, Fire Emblem is a vast game; it may deserve three reps, but the three blue haired swordsman argument really gets to me.

I also seem to gather Chrom really IS the flavor of the month, that Ike and Marth have both been the Fire Lord two times, a feat no other character has accomplished, and Chrom is just the new one.... even if they fight differently, do we really need three characters from one game series (of 200+ characters) that all serve the same function within the game itself?

Given the female boost this round, it seems Robin or Anna, or another bada** b**** may be more likely.

From what I saw he didn't.

And no Roy guys, he didn't even deserve it to begin with.
I like playing as him but he's only starred in one game that didn't even come out until after Melee. If he wasn't in Melee nobody would care about him.

Like i said in a earlier the costume is from Hero status from Fire Eblem Radiant dawn if you saw the picture and chroms costume looks different from ikes this is the radiant dawn costume =
