Hershey used to have a roller coaster with the same concept of a Water Cannon Battle... wonder what happened to that.

I've only done one so far though lol.

Anyway though, since we're missing some tried and true roller coasters, I decided to do one that's semi-local for me. I'll use as a basis since he's my guy and all. I think Dorney Park's Steel Force is a pretty great fit for him. Steel Force, as a coaster, isn't the biggest, longest, or fastest out there, so on the surface it may have trouble standing out in a crowd, paralleling Sakurai's worry about Chrom not standing out in Smash 4. However, Steel Force is still a crowd-favorite ride (especially locally), just as Chrom is a fan favorite Fire Emblem character. The shape of the first drop also reminds me of Soaring Slash from a stylistic standpoint, and the speed is fitting for Chrom as well. Plus, come on, "Steel Force." Chrom is forceful in combat and wields a sword.

As for stylistic changes to fit a Smash-centered theme park, the ride would be renamed to Exalted King, and each of the cars would be adorned with the Brand of the Exalt. For continuity purposes, this ride would likely be located around the same area as the ride due to theming.

Plus I just have good memories of trips to Dorney with my friends back in the day, so it just feels right, haha.

There's a bit less theming involved here, but when I looked up how long Steel Force was for reference purposes, it turns out it's tied for eighth place on longest steel coasters, alongside Mamba. So I think that could be a funny in-joke if Mamba represented Roy.

Well, I'm about to get back into the swing of things as far as school goes, so I might as well say this now. I don't know how much time I'll have to check back.

Speculation/Discussion here was fun. This was the first time being around Smashboards during an entire speculation period, as for Smash 4 I joined after Robin and Lucina. It was pretty interesting seeing how things progressed over the short yet long 8-9 months of pre-DLC/release speculation.

I remember having some interesting discussions here. I remember staying up all night to debate the canonical length of Falchion, that was fun.

That's it really. I'll still post around in the next thread from time to time.

It costs 200 coins to try again during Classic Mode. You can buy stuff in the store with coins. You complete challenges for collecting coins. Numbers go up, and humans enjoy numbers going up.

Yeah i looked it up theres a few sister caosters including Mamba and Steel Dragon 2000 made by the same coaster company. And Wild Thing was the father coaster of them all cept its green and not very roy like.

Well alot of coaster companies make sister coasters to their more successful ones. Top Thrill Dragster begat Kingda Ka, Every coaster in one Busch Gardens has a sister in the other one, And theres also racing coasters like Lightning Racer and Gwazi.

Is it even worse that, in the majority of other FE games, the characters have full trust in the player bossing them around even though they don’t exist in-universe at all?

Never forget that I thought Smash Ultimate would be a straight up port of Smash 4 back in 2016 and that the game would be supported throughout the entire Switch lifecycle.

One possibility I had in mind was that Smash NX is released as a straight up port with only the DLC included (maybe the IC's as well) and then every year or half a year character/stage/misc packs are released that add extra content to the game and this goes on for the entire lifespan of the NX.

Unlikely but I would love for that to be the case.

This thread is a good thread. In my time here, I learned more about Persona and SMT than I ever thought I would (and more about Yoshi and Zoe the purple dog than I ever wanted). I debated Fire Emblem and Zelda and Resident Evil and ****ing DC Universe canon. I gained an artist to commission for my youtube channel. I laughed, I yelled, I got a sudden motivation to watch Jim Carrey's The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. I learned a peculiarly large amount of videogame trivia I will probably never get to use outside of this setting. And most of all, I had fun. Even during that one time when someone was trying to argue character popularity based on the amount of porn of said character on the internet.
