Pretty much my story with Dark Samus. I had to put a few days time get to Ridley and K. Rool into Elite, I still haven't gotten Wolf or PT in there despite taking that much time as well, and yet she only took about three or four matches at best.
Why? T only bumps it up three years but gives them far, far less they can't use.
Probably because you have no real life friends /s

That's part of the motivation to succeed.
Not to toot my own horn, but here's some I made for the stage competition awhile back that I'd kinda like to see:
We get taunts back but people taunt after ever attack to get you salty and have taunt partys
- A Mario Party stage. The stage could even take place on a big dice block while travelling across memorable boards from the series.
Definitely use any "Assist Killer" spirits you have, such as Sheriff and/or Pyra. Focus on KOing Sukapon first before engaging the other fighter.
In my case, where do I find the motivation when I can, like, just go play SSF2 online, where I’m actually already pretty decent? I feel like I’d be doing it mainly just so I can say that I’m getting somewhere in the game in places like this.
Don't worry about that. I haven't been dragged into a single items match since they improved the matchmaking.
The point is that now they have less restrictions on how to depict their characters.

Give Richter his SotN Holy Water and change his Final Smash to Hydro Storm.

Less restrictions in America yeah, but not everywhere else. CERO (I think that’s the name) we’re prepared to bump the rating up in Japan over some panties showing (like that’s a problem compared to other things), all of Bayonetta’s “nudeness” and probably Tharja...I bet Snake lost his *** cause of this aswell...

Oh, you mean something like Domination lines from Tf2? Hooo boy that would be interesting for other character like Palutena and Bayonetta to talk trash toward another character after their stock was taken.
I don’t really have a favorite Echo Fighter. The closest I guess is Ken but he’s already pretty different. Maybe having alt colors based off of Violent Ken and his SFV primary.

Octoling would have Down B replaced with Curling Bomb, which moves forward at a consistent rate. FS woulsd also be Sting Ray, which is a skinnier but stronger version of Inkling's Killer Wail

I don't remember his spirit battle, but he showed up in the shop one day so I bought him for 10,000 gold (maybe 9,000..can't remember if it was Sunday or not).
That would’ve made a good stage for Shadow
