i don't know if i've brought this up, but the way sakurai talked about the fighter pass and the fact he basically pushed the blame onto nintendo... irks me. its telling me that sakurai is having mixed thoughts on the newcomers that are going to be there. that's part of why i'm so pessimistic about the dlc, because sakurai himself doesn't seem to like it either

It's less than 20 NES games. I guess it's less than the NES Classic, but it needs more. Like SNES, N64, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance and Gamecube games. Maybe even DS games if they can make it work.

Why do people keep saying this? He didn't push the blame at all. He was simply transparent-as Sakurai usually is-and stated that Nintendo selected the DLC because to imply that he did and no one else is disingenuous.
If he had mixed thoughts on these newcomers I doubt he'd have approved them.

He didn't seem like he was blaming Nintendo just that he was clarifying how the characters were chosen

Subscribers get 50% off first-party exclusive titles and can play up to a week before launch.

Would literally print money while still being a bit unique from the others.

The best part about Game Pass, imo, isn't the Netflix gallery. It's getting the first party lineup for free as long as you subscribe.

Hypothetically, a DQ character, Katalina, Steve, a Western 3rd Party (Rayman?), and one other character is pretty good. IMO

They probably think a Western character will balance out Katalina too

Coming back to this one, but I've been accused of a lot of **** here.

According to ya'll, I'm an insider who works at both Nintendo and Microsoft.

When in reality I'm the mail boy for Sony HQ. It's why I knew the Grinch "leak" was fake, because WE were the ones who made the promo materials for the Grinch movie. But I could say so or else I'd jeopardize my job. Sony's really secretive. In fact, I just lost my job making this post.
