I got the Digital Version and the Fighters Pack and I'm so excited to play it when it comes out.

Logically it makes more sense for Bandai Namco to have a second rep, than for Microsoft to have a first rep.

If we're using leaks as a reference, then we could cherry-pick taking the SE character out of the picture as well, since they're stingy and hard to work with when it comes to getting the rights for stuff that they keep out-sourcing.

This is all based on assumptions, we don't actually know if they give a crap or not. We could say Namco would've gotten their character in the base-game just like Pac-Man in Smash 4, or we could say Microsoft wouldn't care because Minecraft is their money-maker, so they wouldn't need two characters.

Not every 3rd-party had two characters in Smash 4, why should it be a definite thing here? I can just as easily say Ubisoft should have two characters instead of just Rayman.

I get the frustrations Graizen has with us just ****ting on Digimon all the time because he really likes the series. And tbh, this thread is full of people that have single-interests every time they post and none of them garner as much attention as Graizen.

I just feel like he wouldn't garner the collective ire of the thread if he wasn't so forceful with bringing in Digimon into every conversation. It's like fitting that circle peg in the square hole.

Speaking of Rivals, this might be an unpopular opinion but I think it's by far the best Smash clone and I really hope it shows up on Switch at some point.

I see where you are coming from, and from a money sense yes it makes sense.

However in Smash Wii U, Capcom and Sega were the only two companies that had two reps. At least Square had only one rep, so it made the playing field somewhat even. However with the inclusion of Konami getting two and Square getting two, I just don't see it from a representation view point. Despite having more money, if we put that aside I think Bandai Namco still wants equal representation. Why wouldn't they want more representation and advertisement to their own characters? And Nintendo is used to working with 3rd parties, Im sure they would realize Bandai Namco would want another rep. I suppose we will have to wait and see, but I still will be genuinely shocked if they don't get a second rep. Logically it makes more sense for Bandai Namco to have a second rep, than for Microsoft to have a first rep.

1. Sega gained an exception due to being a vet 3rd party company for Smash
2. What if Bamco doesn’t want another playable rep?
3. Of Square really does gain an extra rep...they might be doing it to ignore a current problem with FFXV

Also I finally caught up after reading the Microsoft event thing and the only thing I really have to say is...

Game Pass is the best thing to come out of Microsoft this generation and I hope Nintendo emulates it because it's probably the most pro-consumer thing about in gaming right now.

And if those FF titles are coming to Xbox soon, I hope they'll be hitting Switch early next year. Pity about not getting the 13 trilogy though (I'm like one of 4 people that likes those games I guess).
