I see where you are coming from, and from a money sense yes it makes sense.
However in Smash Wii U, Capcom and Sega were the only two companies that had two reps. At least Square had only one rep, so it made the playing field somewhat even. However with the inclusion of Konami getting two and Square getting two, I just don't see it from a representation view point. Despite having more money, if we put that aside I think Bandai Namco still wants equal representation. Why wouldn't they want more representation and advertisement to their own characters? And Nintendo is used to working with 3rd parties, Im sure they would realize Bandai Namco would want another rep. I suppose we will have to wait and see, but I still will be genuinely shocked if they don't get a second rep. Logically it makes more sense for Bandai Namco to have a second rep, than for Microsoft to have a first rep.
