Coming back to this one, but I've been accused of a lot of **** here.

According to ya'll, I'm an insider who works at both Nintendo and Microsoft.

When in reality I'm the mail boy for Sony HQ. It's why I knew the Grinch "leak" was fake, because WE were the ones who made the promo materials for the Grinch movie. But I could say so or else I'd jeopardize my job. Sony's really secretive. In fact, I just lost my job making this post.

Regarding Graizen 's tweets; if true, his correspondence with Hitagi would actually be detrimental to his cause (that of getting Agumon in Smash).

If we're using leaks as a reference, then we could cherry-pick taking the SE character out of the picture as well, since they're stingy and hard to work with when it comes to getting the rights for stuff that they keep out-sourcing.

This is all based on assumptions, we don't actually know if they give a crap or not. We could say Namco would've gotten their character in the base-game just like Pac-Man in Smash 4, or we could say Microsoft wouldn't care because Minecraft is their money-maker, so they wouldn't need two characters.

Not every 3rd-party had two characters in Smash 4, why should it be a definite thing here? I can just as easily say Ubisoft should have two characters instead of just Rayman.

Well considering Square-Enix just burned 33+Million dollars to the ground + the fact they're clear lack of management and focus; it make senses on them being stingy. FF 7 in development hell (entire code has to be redone). FF XV DLC cancelled (thank god). To pay for DLC in order to get a complete game is atrocious. The only good thing is that KH3 is coming out and even then the game is OVERRATED. The story is convoluted and is starting to not make sense. Gameplay and Nostalgia is awesome though. Square-Enix has been downgrading ever since Spirits Within but even more so with the FF XIV utter disaster when it first launched

As much I want to hear you guys speculate, H O L Y M O L Y you guys can get quite toxic sometimes. It's at the point where I don't enjoy reading through these posts anymore. Makes me question why I come here in the first place. It's the same charade now.

I think I've officially grown weary of speculation now that we know the base roster. I don't really find myself caring about the DLC characters that much (Bandanna Dee being the exception). Just as my hiatus throughout 2017, I think it's time this account officially step into its cryogenic chamber yet again. Dunno for how long though. Could be a month, a year, or even until the next Smash title is announced, and I don't even know if I'll care about speculation at this point.

You've all got a game coming out in less than 4 weeks that you all are very much passionate about and will enjoy. As much as it is hard for the human mind to focus on the good rather than the bad, make that the forefront of your mind. Regardless of who the DLC characters are, we've still got a game with a massive roster, 103 stages, an all-new Adventure mode, and tons of good video game music to jam out to.

Keep calm, and Smash on everyone. You might see me around Reddit if you're very attentive, but farewell.

The voice in Lifelight is deeper than Jump Up, Super Star! Even compared to Higgins' other songs, it's deeper.

Likely is a case of Chrono Cross in that it's an unknown singer, but why not come forward? It's an amazing song, and I'd love to know who did it.

I live like 5 minutes from the mall Gamestop I'm getting it from, and a few friends will be joining me back at my house. I'm probably going to start with a round of Smash either by myself or with the friends...it's weird to say, but this will be the first launch of a Smash game where the first match I would play would be with friends...

Anyway, I may drop the extra money on a guide just for the optional ways to unlock characters, at least for the nostalgia of doing a bunch of stuff to unlock different characters. I hope classic with Mario unlocks Luigi or something like that. I'd freaking love it.

Also, I hope that World of Light has more to the cutscene than what we saw, because then there'll be more like this:

I'm with you on this as mucha s id love to keep thinking about the DLC and such, rather not if it means we cannibalize each other. And this is coming from the Anti Box Guy. When even i am saying yall are acting like animals you know you've ****ed up.

Nintendo already did it to Bamco in base game. No third party "needs" any sort of character rep.

It doesn't matter if we feel it's fair or not. When Nintendo goes "btw y'all are about to get ****ing MILLIONS working on this game which your most iconic character is in alongside a library of his music, references to your characters, and a stage just for him, you also get top billing" then they're gonna do it not worrying about "grrr they bettah put in Lloyd"

You get what I'm getting at?

I think it’s more of the fact that companies like having the virtue of their own character in Smash nowadays.

This was pretty evident with Cloud, since despite what seemed to be an impossibility seeing how much of a Juggernaut he is, Nomura basically said “why wouldn’t I let Cloud, it’s Smash, no one would refuse that” (or something like that).

Some members of the Tales of and Tekken teams also work on Smash, and if they went up to Sakurai and they both agreed to add someone like Lloyd or Heihachi, and Bandai still gets a gain from allowing another character get in, it would be more of a “why not” situation again.

Of course, Nintendo seems to be pulling some of the strings for DLC, but it seems that they more or less gave suggestions to Sakurai and it all falls on him to make the final decision. Seeing how Nintendo does have information on the Smash Ballot, and seeing how much of a shock Nintendo was about King K. Rool and were okay to let him into Smash... I don’t think the possibility for characters like Lloyd who seems to have fan demand are as grim as some people make them out to be, and Nintendo seemed to have grown more open to characters like these.

That brings up a good question though, what would the cutscenes be about?

In subspace all the characters were in their own little groups until they all met up, in WoL it's just Kirby reviving everyone along the way.

I know this mode won't have a lot of cutscenes, but even if there's a few what would they be about?
