I reported that video for bullying too, this guy and his friends are toxic, I’d never wish death upon someone like they’re doing in the comments, these people are really sick and need help.

This video needs to be taken down, it’s beyond toxicity.

EDIT: I like Sony too, but I don’t act like this to other people, this guy also shows a lack of empathy which is a characteristic of a sociopath.

PS4 sucked. No great games for me. Sold it off ages back to fund my switch. Played my switch everyday since i bought it. Best purchase ever

So, do y'all think we'll get a direct around halloween bringing us details about "Spirits" mode? It makes sense if you ask me. Like, show us an extension trailer from Dracula's Castle, Ridley's quarters and DK Island. The trailer then pans out to the non-killed smashers. The likes of Richter, Simon, DK, Kirby, Pikachu, Inkling, etc. going at these foes and reclaiming spirits. Idk. I'm just spitballing here. Lol

Just take into account that halloween is only " huge" in United States, the rest of the world is more indifferent or "meh" about halloween, i do think nintendo has a more "worldwide" approach instead of focusing in certain areas.

There is 0% chance that this is the last Smash game. This franchise is arguably one of their most lucrative, and they would never throw it away just because of the chance they might not top this game's heights afterwards.

My only question is where would the series go from here? If Smash 6 is anything short of Ultimate, I feel like that would leave many people disappointed. Many people now would have the expectation of every stage and every character being in from now on.

I could see Ultimate being supported with DLC up until the end of the Switch's life cycle. I would be perfectly fine with Ultimate + DLC (and maybe about 5-10 more characters) being ported over to the next console when it comes out, maybe with an updated Spirits mode which includes the DLC characters if Spirits is some sort of story-based adventure mode.

THat's been my attitude towards it like U spend half a grand and only play like 3 games.

this is the first time I've gotten only one console along with my PC and I gotta say I'm not really hurting for anything.

Good question. You'd think they would have addressed that in the blog. 2 possibilities, I'd imagine:
1) Drives right off the edge and plunges into the abyss
2) Drives off the edge, but keeps going straight; driving on air as it goes off screen as it would normally

If it's the former it'll be really freaking funny, maybe Kapp'n had a few shots before he got invited.

If the latter, he had a lot of shots before he got invited.

I feel like to a point, that's an expectation that kind of becomes common in every game in this community. People don't want to expect cuts unless they're incredibly petty and dislike particular characters on the roster, for the most part. As far as I've seen. People will be disappointed when smash 6 isn't "Everyone Is Here 2", but I think they'll figure something out.

And even then once you hit a certain age, you no longer care about Halloween even here in the US. Hell, the stores cant get rid of Halloween merchandise fast enough to make room for Christmas. Poor thanksgiving gets skipped entirely.

You have to admit, though, even though is may only be 'popular' in the US, the theme of it is fun, which does appeal to other countries. Overwatch is pretty international with its game and every October they have a Halloween themed event in 'Junkenstein's Revenge' with Halloween themed costumes, an event, etc. So even if not every country celebrates it to the same extent, its not impossible for a company going for an international audience to use it in promotions.

What was done was bad, yes, but certainly not the worst example of what one people has done to another when entering new lands in history. Well, you can always look at news, articles, live in another country, actually know people from other countries and ask them, etc. Once you notice, you realize aint that big of a celebration outside US.

But as someone stated, it can be something fun for games such as OW, LoL and such. Making themed events its certainly fun.

Yeah I have to agree. Ray Chase is a solid actor but his Roy voice just...doesn't work for me.
I'm well used to Yuri Lowenthal's Marth at this point so I have no issue with him coming to Smash, but Ray? Eh. I do find Jun Fukuyama's voice pretty annoying (don't hurt me) though so I'll take whichever. Language swap would be the best thing, maybe even for individual characters.

I was hoping they’d give male Robin “Time to tip the scales,” but figured they wouldn’t bring him back for one line. Totally forgot David Vincent is also Richter. Hope for the proper taunt has been restored!
