Why are people saying they're one?
Is there a joke I'm missing?
Every single time the topic of design comes up you inmediately comment how Samus was "ruined" and a large percentage of your posts in this thread are "Samus was ruined." She looked like that in her Metroid concept art, in Zero Mission, Fusion, and Other M. If you compare the anatomy side by side without vague memories or bad fanarts you would realize it. Since you couldn't understand Metroid's game design saying didn't fit "your perception of Samus," then I can only assume you have no idea of what Metroid or Samus are about.
I think trying to come to a conclusion based on the website's layout is kinda not the greatest way to go. Not that I wouldn't a bit upset if they didn't add 2/5/8 more fighters to round it out, I don't think that's a part of their consideration process.

But why?
That actually depends on what definition of "dog" you use. It's occasionally used more leniently as a term to refer to other canines, especially male ones, similar to how the term for female ones is...uh, you probably know that one. It's part of why people who want to be technical frequently use term "domestic dog" rather then simply "dog".

Then, it randomly skips a chunk of characters. are the ones that are missing in that chunk, so they would be on the left side. Then, are on the right side. are skipped, meaning they are probably on the left side. are on the right side. Now, the interesting part. are skipped. But that's only 8 fighters, thus breaking the pattern. There may be an echo fighter in this chunk. appear on the right side, leaving room for Isabelle and an additional newcomer.
There are two black spots on the side of the box... and not every character is shown... hmm...
What I'm thinking too. Then we get DLC with 5 uniques and 5 echos each rounding out to 90 characters.

I think this means Ken is all but confirmed now. But the only problem with this is the fact that I highly doubt that there are only two newcomers left. Of course, we'll just have to wait and see.
